OK guys, girls and fuckwit douches, enough games have been played to start to get some definite tiers in this league.
Gold Standards
1 - Lone Star - (1) - Same - yet to really be tested, TLSC are playing AA teams just to feel something.
2 - Flint Tropics - (2) - Same - again, haven't been tested, and put a punding on previously unbeaten BC
Silver Spoons (ie only been beaten by the two above)
3 - Halifax Hashishim - (5) - Up 2 - Halifax continues to defy expectations, and played TLSC the toughest they've been played so far in the East.
4 - BC Lumber Co - (4) - Same - they got handled against the Tropics, but squeaked past the Prawns to ascend to the top 4. Can they stay there - we know they don't like the shiny glare of the spotlight.
Remaining Contenders
5 - Ballina Big Prawns - (3) - Down 2 - losing to BC drops them down a couple notches, but these guys are the favourite to move into the top 4 if anyone manages it.
6 - Bloodweiser Bugle All-stars - (7) - Up 1 - went down to Ballina in their only game thus far against teams above them so far - doesn't bode well for the remainder of their schedule. Can they hang on to a playoff berth?
The Dark Horse
7 - Cobden Muskrats - (8) - Up 1 - these guys are quietly working their way up the ladder despite a brutal early schedule. Probably the best recruiting out of the promoted teams. Looks for them to get a streak going in their much easier second half schedule, but two tough games coming up. Their week 14 game against BC should be a showcase of the best promoted teams.
The Playoff Scramble
8 - Centralia Gill T Doggs - (9) - Up 1 - still recruiting in order to scramble into thee playoffs. However, with the Doggs roster being one of the more solid, I don't think their issues have been with on field personnel. They;ve had a reasonably tough schedule thus far. Which is why they're ahead of...
9 - Miramachi Wizards - (13) - Up 4 - apart from Halifax, they've had a pretty nice schedule thus far, which is why they're ranked below the Doggs despite a better record.
Its All Over - go to Seaworld
10 - Igliaut Arctic Wolves - (6) - Down 4 - I am very disappointed in our arch rivals from last season. They're just not trying.
11 - Millenium Falcons - (12) - Up 1 - nothing like a trip to the bottom 3 teams to break a donut.
12 - Saquenay Falcons - (11) - Down 1 - obviously they're yet to visit one of the bottom three.
The Fuckwit Douches
13 - Damage Inc. - (10) - Down 4 - their sole achievement of note has been to do shitty power rankings straight fromt he standings then bitch about how much time they wasted. For those of you who've just turned in - yes, I am both petty and spiteful.
The so bad I can't even rank Damage below them despite my pettiness division
16 (t) - The Crushing Fuamatu-ma'afala's, Barkmere Bulldogs, Jeanland Jeaniacs - please, just disband and sell off the good players you have to the rest of us - its the least you can do. Jeanland is actually a shining example.
