Stupid turnovers and stupid losing to stupid league champions from my old stupid league.

Not sure what the thing has against Hueco Mundo. I don't think anybody sees them losing very often this season.

I love losing and having a better projected standings

I actually find the spreadsheet isn't accurate until like week 8 really and isn't really accurate until week 10

I think this thing could be right about the fact that there might not be an unbeaten team in Alpha. Also think it will be a 3 or 4 team dog fight at the top to see who ends up where.

Yup. I'm pretty sure the top 4 from last season's playoff seeding are back, and I don't see anybody dethroning them. If Sydney can reverse their playoff fortunes, they're the favorites, but Ohio Valley, Alice Springs and Easter Island are nipping at their heels. Right now I'd probably favor Ohio Valley to take the conference trophy, but I wouldn't bet a paycheck on it!

I like that we(Heuco Mundo) are rated low, but if we already have 5 wins and Cimmerian has not won a game yet and there aren't any projected ties something doesn't add up. They won't win a game, but neither will we. If this is a computer rating called the BCS get rid of it like College Football should because it is full of shit.

I gotta agree with my QB. I expect to make the playoffs, but being that highly seeded I'm not optimistic about.

at this point in the season, these rankings are more an ordering of teams that have not played the hard games yet. I love my team, and hope to go unbeaten, but we also have only played 1 or 2 teams so far that had a legitimate chance to beat us. not calling them blowouts by any means, but yeah. put our games in a different order and the result will be different. as is true for all of us. Id rather be ranked below 8 with the hard games behind than ranked 1st with all the hard games to come.

Got to love how the Hollows drop in rank after beating the #1, #4, & #9 ranked teams.
I am thinking we might have to lose to get a better ranking.

I agree that ranking system never liked us either...until about the end of the season we get a reasonable rank. We do not always put up the best numbers, but we get the job done consistently.

The ranking system bases it on what you are supposed to do against teams and how you perform against expectations. IE if a team has given up an average of 40 points and scored 20 and you beat them 30 to 20 then you only score 75% of what you are supposed to and hold teams to 100% of what you're expect to. This means the sheet does not like you. It thinks you are going to lose against teams that out perform thing. That means teams that are pass heavy, and thus run up scores more, tend to be more strongly favored in the spreadsheet than others.

Which is a real statement to how a team like Ohio Valley is playing for them to be ranked so high despite being a running team.
