Game of the week - Unsavory Gentlmen vs. Genosha X-Men

Game to watch - Alberta vs. Canada

#1 Triple B's 3-0

Previous #1
High #1
Low –N/A

Were actually held somewhat in check by a tough Drift team. This week they face a proud but woefully outmatched Saskatchewan team. Prediction - TB's by 84.

#2 Unsavory Gentlemen 4-0

Previous #2
High #2
Low #2

Completely dismantled the Thrashers in a game that could have caught them focusing on the following week. Week 6 finds the UG playing host to Genosha in a game that pits #2 vs #3 for playoff positioning and bragging rights. The teams are evenly matched across the board, this should be a good one. Prediction - UG by 6.

#3 Genosha X-Men 4-0

Previous #3
High #3
Low#3

Had no trouble at all vs. Rancho when they could have been looking to next week as well. This game is the game of the week and one that should affect playoff positioning. It should be close and hard hitting to say the least. Prediction – UG by 6.

#4 Vancouver Vikings 4-0

Previous #6
High #4
Low #9

Pulled off the upset of the season by defeating Alberta and by virtue of that win they leap frog both Alberta and PGW. This week the Vikings play a FMMP team that has had a BRUTAL opening schedule. I would have called this game tight early in the season, but now, not so much. Prediction – Vikings by 28.

#5 Alberta Irukandji 3-1

Previous #4
High #4
Low #6

Had a crazy game vs. the Vikings that saw one of the craziest set of plays I have ever seen. Alberta moves back into their week 1 position but have remaining games against 4 of the current top 5 teams. This week the Irukandji travel to the Canada Dragons to face a tough yet outmatched Dragons team. It could be close, but don’t expect another upset as Hangmen Gallows has no doubt had the defense doing up-downs since they lost. Prediction – Alberta by 21.

#6 Prince George Warriors 3-1

Previous #5
High #4
Low #6

Prince George comes off a decent game vs. a tough BBB opponent in the FMMP. This week they come face to face with an old rival in the Lions. Expect the game to be close from the outset with the Warriors pulling out the win late. Prediction – PGW by 14.

#7 Manitoba Lions 2-2

Previous #7
High #4
Low #7

Played and won a tough game vs. the Demos. The Lion’s have a chance at proving they belong in the top of the conference by beating PGW this week. It should be close but the Lion’s lack the pop to stop PGW. Prediction – PGW by 14.

#8 Canada Dragons 3-1

Previous #9
High #8
Low #9

Although Canada has played a very soft schedule thus far, they have defeated those opponents by a large margin. This week vs. Alberta should be the toughest test for the Dragons in a contest that could prove they deserve a top 8 ranking. Expect a close game but the Dragons offense will be stuffed by Hangmen and his D. Prediction – Alberta by 21.

#9 Rancho Penasquitos Thunderbolts 2-2

Previous #8
High #7
Low #9

Was soundly beaten by Genosha who not only has the levels this year, but game planning as well, something they lacked all of season 5. This week the Thunderbolts square off against the Care Bears who are still without an owner. Should be a cake walk for Rancho. Prediction – Rancho by 24.

#10 North Bay Drift 2-2

Previous #11
High #10
Low #13

After coming off back to back games vs. the best of A5, North Bay looks to finally play a team that they can beat. F Hockey has a great squad but lack game planning. Expect the game to be tight but the Drift should prevail. Prediction – Drift by 3.

#11 Fort McMurray Mounted Police 1-3

Previous #10
High #10
Low #11

I really feel for the Police…. I liked Sting and thought they should have stayed together. I feel bad for Fort McMurray as well. They face a long road if they plan to get back into the Top 8. Fortunately they have the toughest games out of the way and with the unpredictability of the middle tier teams, they have a chance. This week they play the Vikings who are firing on all cylinders and coming off a win vs. a powerful Alberta team. Prediction – Vikings by 28.

#12 Saskatchewan Thrashers 2-2

Previous #11
High #11
Low #12

The poor Thrashers catch no break. After facing the demoralizing rush defense of the UG the Thrashers pack their bags and travel to the unfriendly confines of the 13th Stadium. The Unsavory Gentlemen are unsavory but the B’s sting is worse than smelly feet and bad breath. Prediction – B’s by 84.

#13 F. Hockey Demos 0-4

Previous #13
High #12
Low #13

Played a good game vs. the Lions but fell short. This week they play the North Bay Drift who is looking to move above .500 and into playoff contention. This game will be tight but in the end builds and game planning prevail. Prediction – Drift by 3.

#14 Sault Ste. Marie 0-4

Previous #14
High #14
Low #14

Destroyed by the Dragons, Ste. Marie actually held them to a 69 point victory, impressive. This week they don their protective helmets, you know the little white ones with Velcro that helps special people from bumping their head, and face an angel’s team that is looking to score against someone other than a CPU team. Prediction – Ste. Marie by 28.

#15 Chilliwack Care Bears 1-3

Previous #16
High #15
Low #16

What can I say about the Care Bears that hasn’t already been said? Okay nothing has been said because no one on their team is REAL. Saying they are better than queens angels is like saying it feels better to be hit with a bat than a brick, either way it sucks. This week the Care Bears face Rancho in a game that should be out of their hands quickly. Prediction – Rancho by 24.

#16 the queen's angels 0-4

Previous #15
High #15
Low #16

What do you say about a team that was beat by a pure CPU team? Unless they go out and find hire a GM or upgrade considerably, they will not win a game all year. This week they lose to Sault Ste. Marie

Dont worry everyone knew what you meant. Ohh and we plan on beating PGW this year. Ill spend all night on the offensive gameplan if I have to. Some of those bbb teams have played some good games. we need every win we can get.

Now that is what I like to hear. I had this down as one of the important game this season.

We have already started our game planning and will be burning the midnight oil to make sure we give you the game you deserve, and the loss that goes with it.

Warriors come out and play!!!!

Wow, the Vikings did a real good job holding me down. I was expecting about double the sacks and hurries, but I was triple teamed all night. Just great game planning.

The police are out for vengeance. I'm calling the upset of the season vs. the Vikes right here. We kind of messed up with an experimental AI in that last game. Not this time though.

You gotta pull for Stewie over the Gator's right? The Gator's rank just below the Tide in teams I would not piss on if they were on fire.

So who is your team then?

Outside of Michigan, who is the most dissapointing team in the nation? I'll give you a hint, over the past 3 years they have had two years with the top recruits in the nation and one year with the top class in the nation....

You know, I was actually torn during the bowl game last year...Michigan's seniors and coach really deserved a W because they had much better talent than their record showed. There were just too many injuries and such throughout the season. It finally all came together for them in that last game, it was a beautiful thing.

This season is just all sorts of bad for them, but hopefully you're keeping faith...you guys have two solid QB commits for next year who ought to end up pretty good since you don't have a QB at all right now, when it comes down to it.

And as much as your hint should help me, it doesn't. Unless you're talking about Notre Dame, which just doesn't fit in with the Michigan thing. Miami maybe?
