East #13 Chicago Bruins...

Lost two games by a total of 4 points. Had the lead against #1 Klamath Falls Grizzles until the final 1:48 of the game. A loss is a loss and all that, but we hung with one of the current top teams in our conference. BTW, great game Grizzles, hats off to your DC... he kept our running game in check (compared to the other teams we've faced this season).

Overall I think that rankings are real hard to do, there's a ton of parity in this League. Pretty much anyone can beat anyone, if they do a better job scouting/planning. That's because the talent level is so very close for many of the teams.

I appreciate the love but Reno has had a pretty soft schedule.

Well sure, in the end the standings will tell the results. But rankings always added a lot to the league's community and gotten some good discussion going. People always seem to appreciate them.

I'm not criticizing or anything. You asked for input, so I'm just lending a little perspective is all. I'm sure a few teams are similar to the Bruins, decent/good teams losing some heart-breakers, which has put them at the bottom of the standings.

I don't think we're the best, but we're a good team that hasn't put it all together yet IMHO.

I disagree. They are WAY overrated!!! They still have a lot to prove in this league...

We'll find out soon enough either way, they enter into the mix with some of the tougher teams so we'll get a better feel for where they stand.

I'd personally have Tucson top in the West, they should have beaten us arguably by about 20 points, and from the limited scouting I got done between sleeping sessions these last few days (flu and painkillers \o/), they look to have probably the most consistant run offence in the league.

Is then pretty much a tossup between Reno/Omaha/Buffalo and ourselves (and maybe Tallahassee if Hate ever bothers to gameplan). Each of those teams has a strength and a relative weakness, and it's down to how well they manage to exploit it when facing each other. Is like a fourway game of rock paper scissors.

First off, Thanks to BD for the effort. I applaud you for throwing these up, new or not. Finally, a post that doesn't completely revolve around BBB13....

Thanks for the nod Warlock. And that was a great game to watch. I wouldn't want to roll it again though. No telling how it would turn out.

lol. nice try. you're not going to be a secret in this league for long. you guys are WAY good.

we consider ourselves a pretty good team...heck, we didn't go 15-1 last season because we sucked, and you guys handed us our asses.

i'm putting you guys as the team to beat this season, and i'm hoping we don't get you in the first round of the playoffs.

Keep up the rankings. It helps drive disucussion. And having done them in the past I understand they are tough.

Here are my top 4:

1) Omaha - Solid all around, this team has not shown any weaknesses yet. Solid running game, efficient passing and a shut down defense.

2)Tuscon - Similiar to Omaha. So far Anchorage is the only team to give them a game. Not a lot seperates these 2 teams.

3) Anchorage - Their only loss is to Tuscon. Beat a very good Buffalo team. Looking at the roster, they may need a wee bit more depth at WR, OT, Gu, DE and LB.

4) Reno - They really have not been tested yet, but you have to honor 4-0.

The next 4 in no particular order: Buffalo, Tallahasse, San Diego, Bay Area.

My team to watch that is going to upset someone: Grand Haven - They have great co-ordinators and game plan as well as anybody.

thanks for the work it is appreciated.

Carolina Cardiac Cats at 5th behind the Miami Roadfrogs is kind of funny though.

Also our only loss was by one point to Omaha who is undeafeated in the West and we have the leagues leading passer, rusher, and sacker. Those stats are inflated currently but our team is looking better than it ever has.

LOL!!! I had to try it at least once. However, I would say that we match up better with some teams then we do with others. We have our challenges just like every team does. I just hope we can figure ours out before you other guys do...

what separates us is are random giving spirit, we just love giving the ball away in the most random situations, for some reason we are football philanthropists we just give away the ball, good field position, and points, but we make up for it, cause the defense is straight G's
