Stockholm Black Death at Passion Fruits 24-21

The Fruit Stand started out rocking with a first quarter TD by Jerome "Big Bus" McNasty to jump out to a 7-0 lead. Then despite amassing twice as much yardage as their opponents, the Passion Fruits turned the ball over 4 times to the Black Death. On the final scoring drive of the game Stockholm was sparked by Marc "Laser Arm" Bulger's pass which was intercepted by Big Night Train Dog. The Black Death took advantage of the short field and hit the winning FG with just :21 seconds left in the game.

iue5 acolytes at Brugge Touch 58-27

The acolytes were in control of this game from the get go. iue5 posted over 600 yards in what quickly became a rout in the first quarter as the acolytes held a 21 point lead. The Touch didn't lay down and managed to put up 27 points on the acolyte defense but never managed to close the gap to less than the early 21 point deficit.

East Cairo Argonauts at Cambridge Chieftains 23-27

Despite East Cairo's all star RB TwinkleToes Hillsowski who put up an amazing stat line (17 rushes for 123.5yds; 2 receptions for 8.5yds and 3 TD's) the Argonauts were unable to beat the Chieftains at University Field. Cambridge ran a very balanced attack, kept the game close and then managed to turn it on in the second half. The game was essentially over when Cambridge QB Quick Blower hit a pass to Willie Roberts up the right side for 20.5 yard TD.

Vatican City Fighting Popes at Natural Born Killers 24-7

The Fighting Pope's defense dismantled the Natural Born Killers, picking the Killers off three times and holding them to an anemic 31% pass completions. Vatican City was very efficient on the ground led by HB Da Speed with 204.5 yards on 38 carries. After the game NBK G PassMe TheSyrup was heard remarking that the Popes had "caught us napping".

Nikopolis Stoic Hedonists at Torpedo Cowthorpe 14-72

The humorously misspelled Torps Layer was all festivities this game as they watched their beloved Cowthorpes roll all over Nikopolis to to the tune of 72 points by the home team. The 13,200 fans in attendance were momentarily quieted when the Stoic Hedonists marched the ball down the field and scored on their first drive, but were treated to a 21 point lead at the half. The second half was all Toledo as QB
Michael Dauber II put the game away finishing with 12 completion on 18 attempts, 250.5yds, 4 TDs and no interceptions.

København Hühnerfalken at Ingolstadt Hat Tossers 31-6

The Hat Tossers were no match for Copenhagen's versatile offense as the Hühnerfalken dominated all game long gaining nearly twice the yardage Igolstadt gained. Ingolstadt took an early lead and held it for a mere 6 minutes. Then København HB Stampede Jones took over on route to 157yds and 3 TD's with an impressive 7.1 yard per rush average. The Hat Tossers offensive woes continued into this week with a dismal 3.7 yard per pass average. Immediately following the game Ingolstadt OC wicked_chutulhu stepped down as offensive coordinator.

Red River Ruminants at Heidelberg Hitmen 20-16

The Heidelberger Schloss emptied out with heads hung low as the Red River Ruminants came out with a tough road win. Red River outgained the Hitmen handily mostly because of Heidelberg's inability to convert on third downs. The Hitmen punted 6 times and the Ruminants were able to run clock off and take and hold the lead throughout most of the second half. QB Mike Clemmons was spectacular particularly on third downs and he posted an impressive 16 completions on 20 attempts with a TD and 110 yards.

Warfield Hellbringers at Tilburg Dream 6-13

In a defensive battle the Dream were able to score a late TD to win this game. A missed XP by K Elle Driver forced a tie in the middle of the third quarter after Tilburg's two first half field goals. Late in the game Warfield decided to punt down a TD with just over 4 minutes to go and the Dream were able to run out the clock along with any chance of a comeback. LB Jiang Wei CurryHouse led the team with 11 tackles and a pass defended.

Edit: Updated.
