week 4 in review.
Now Oslo has let me down too. It looks like most of the air game went to Zurich's one human reciever. Zurich also was decent on the ground. Oslo also did some strange position planning by having their Kicker do all the punting, and not very well at that. The Oslo defense would do well to have some tackling dummy training.
This week the cards pull the upset taking down Easy. It wasn't that the Cards offense was particularly outstanding, it was mostly that the Easy defense was, well, easy, missing way too many tackles.
And finally once again, my game of the week fizzles. Bastard return team and Pirate turn overs pretty much decided the game. Suggestion to Pirates: put defensive guys who can tackle on Kick off squad, instead of WRs.
And on to the week 5 predictions:
CCC vs Cards. CCC needs to score enough points to keep their first place spot, can they score more than BOR? CCC wins.
BOR vs Trawlers. BOR will slash through the trawlers, but by how much? Will it be enough to unseat CCC? BOR wins.
Monkeys (ewww Bobbit) vs Ravens. OK, I've predicted that Ravens would lose last two games and they've won both (maybe I should hire some of those CPU guys
). Monkeys showing new life should, I repeat, should win this game. Monkeys win.
Bastards vs Ava. Well, I would like to say the bastards win, but I don't think they will be able to overcome that 13 level difference in most starting positions. Ava wins.
Doom vs Oslo. The Oslo streak was broken. Can they rally and make a come back. I think they will. Oslo has a slight level advantage over Doom, and it should be enough to carry them through unless their game planning gets left in the lockerroom. Oslo wins.
Pirates vs Huskies. It looks like huskies brought on some new folks to be trained. I look for the pirates to be eager to get even with someone and take the game. Pirates win.
B-dogs vs Easy. Easy has fallen a long way since last season, while B-dogs have improved. B-dogs toss Easy about like an old chewie toy. B-dogs win.
Dallas vs FHP. After 21 straight painful games, Dallas finally gets to serve a little of that pain itself. Dallas wins.
