...and as the dust settled on the field after Algoma sealed its first victory of many in Thunder Bay, silence befell the crowd...Utter shock, awe and flat-out terror had sweeped over them as they realized that they were defeated on this 17th day of November...This reporter had never seen such an eerie silence...After a few minutes, not one fan had left their seat yet...and then something out of the ordinary occurred...

"gotcha"

A murmur from the back of section 152 of the home sidelines...

"Gotcha"

Could it be? A fan of Thunder Bay?!?

"GOtcha"

Even stranger...The voice started to multiply and become louder, stronger, more confident...

"GOTcha"

And this voice spread down the sections of the stadium, like a wave upon the ocean...From the endzone...to the visitor sidelines...

"GOTCha"

It became a furious frenzy of cheering now...Frowns and distraught among the stadium masses had taken an unexpected turn to bliss and excitement...

"GOTCHa"

The fans, now driven by pure wanton lust for just a glimpse of he who had shown them the way...the true light...Their new beacon of football-playing hope and driving force to get up from bed from their comparably mundane ratrace lives because there might be, just might be, a chance for them to cross his path...

"GOTCHA"

The local Thunder Bay police arrive, they form a barrier between the crowd and the field, afraid that there might be a riot....

"GOTCHA!"

On the now-emptied visitor sideline, there was Rachel Iwanthalfyerdough, a sullen look upon her face, for she had tried to find the man, the myth, the legend amid the team's chaotic victory celebration, but failed in doing so...and now slumped her shoulders knowing that she will probably be scooped...

"GOTCHA! GOTCHA! GOTCHA!!!"

The crowd now ridiculously excited and taken in by the moment...Hoping beyond hope that Gotcha would show himself just one...more...time...

All of a sudden, all of the lights in the stadium shut off at once...The raucous crowd became confused and silenced themselves, cept for one guy back in the top corner seat in section 105 who yelled "I LOVE YOU GOTCHA!"....Moments, which will seem like a lifetime for them forevermore passed....And then it happened....

The crowd was elated! Their villain-turned-godlike hero figure had shown, answering their rabid call!

Gotcha made his way down the field as the stadium lights turned back on to the 20 yard line, waving to the new legions of Gotchamaholics that had just joined the ranks...where he was confronted by none other than Rachel Iwanthalfyerdough, who had to fight off the crowd noise for minutes as Gotcha stood there wondering how she keeps this job.

RI: "GOTCHA! That was an amazing victory for Algoma today! How do you feel?"

Gotcha: "Shhh.....Listen with Gotcha for a moment, will ya toots?"

Crowd: "GOTCHA! GOTCHA! GOTCHA!"

Gotcha: *holds hand up...Crowd silences* "You see woman, some guys run their yaps about AI, levels, matchup pages, whatever...All this palabra that Gotcha doesn't know...and doesn't care to know about...Gotcha knows one thing. Greatness. That's who is is. What he is. When he is. Where he is. Why he is...and how he is. Know what I'm sayin?"

*crowd goes wild*

RI: "As is the case most of the time, not really Gotcha. You scored the first touchdown of your career today after a fumble forced by your self-proclaimed "Gotcha wannabe" teammate, Smokin' Aces...Take us through the play."

Gotcha: "Well...Just what you said hot lips...Smokin' went in and ripped off some scrub...but as is the case with most non-Gotcha athletes...couldn't finish the deal like yours truly can...So I went in and cleaned up his mess."

RI: "The taunting with the ball and trust fall into the endzone after stopping at the 1 yard line was a little much, don't you think?"

Gotcha: "Ya like it? Don't steal it...*looks around and points* "That means all of you...Seriously...Don't steal it...Gotcha has patented it and my attorneys will be on you like white on rice."

RI: "Thunder Bay's owner, ryan-grant25, had stated this before this game: 'this "superior LB" is very low leveled toward the league and he has not proven him self in any way in my opinion. he needs to keep his mouth shut and let his player do the talking first. once his LB does something productive he can talk. just wait till november 17th pal, your talking about shutting down TEs? i got one of the best in the league.' Thoughts, Gotcha?"

Gotcha: *hmphs* "You forgot about the part where the dumbass that interviewed him told him that was well put."

RI: *squirms*

Gotcha: "Don't worry...Gotcha is sure somebody will get drunk one night and well, one thing turns into another and...Well you know...Now where was Gotcha? Oh yes..Thunder Bay owner guy with the broken english...Gotcha is going to steal a quote from a motivational speech from his student, Smokin'Aces, on this one..."Gotcha thinks Thunder Bay owner guy is writin' checks that his ass...and his tight end's ass...can't cash."

RI: "Uhhh...Well put Gotcha."

Gotcha: "That's better. Maybe you will find a nice rich guy that won't beat you someday."

*crowd laughs*

RI: "Gotcha, I would appreciate if you'd keep me and my personal life out of this. Last question before we end: Do you think this performance has sent a message to Flex Apollo for your upcoming game against Laval on the 1st of December?

Gotcha: "Who? Huh? Oh...That Adrian Balboa guy again? You got a thing for him or something? Jesus woman...Have some self-respect and stop trying to hook up with ran-overs. As for football, even if dude is pumpin' roids he can't do nuttin' against the all-natural all-excellent all-smothering God's gift to football that is Gotcha McGillicuddy.


RI: *shrugs off hook up comment* "Gotcha, thank you for your time and congratulations on the win."

Gotcha: "One more second....Listen with me again for a minute."

*Both listen for a minute*
