It's true. those good defensive ends probably have at most, strength capped. They have an advantage over Tackles because they get .5 a level in speed and agility. a long with .5 in str and tackling.
What if you built a tackle to stop this?
What if tackles double capped agility first? with plans to cap str and blocking later.
What if you just capped str and double capped blocking, after double capping agility to get the level gains for it. after you cap str and blocking, cap speed, then work on stamina vision and confidence, and protector s.a.?
You have to think that most tackles are good because of their "good feet" they are usually very agile fat and big. They are strong and good at blocking as well.
I think tackles are at a big disadvantage in the first place, with very little level gains on agility and none in speed. While defensive ends can either pump speed to infinity or agility to infinity while adding a full point per every 2 levels. But while they are doing this they are neglecting str.
It leads me to believe the traditional builds that everyone goes by seems wrong. I truly believe you would be fine with only capped str. maybe double capped blocking since it falls in line with protect.
think about it. if you cap agility first you will be able to keep up, and by the time those ends have 90ish speed or agility, they will be ready to pump str., and so will you.
I don't know just speculation.
