Guys, I thought I'd take a shot at predicting the outcomes of games for our conference - if I turn out to be terrible at it someone else can jump in with no objection from me
Week 4 -
Newcastle Raiders vs Whitechapel Rippers: Some big games this week and this one probably tops the list as two of the unbeaten teams square off for at least a share of the conference lead. Very evenly matched with the Raiders having the best matchup edge with their passing game vs the Rippers pass defense. It isn't much of an edge but I have to pick someone - Newcastle in a very close game.
Eurotrash Rabid Bats vs Armagh Rally: Not hard to pick a winner here as Armagh has fallen on hard times - Bats in a blowout.
Rome Pride vs Amsterdam Fire: Another easy one - the Fire have little fire left and the Pride are really playing well - another Roman conquest pending.
Donegal Wailers vs PGL Gamers: The PGL Gamers have the best record in the league for pulling off upsets as they have a knack for excellent game planning. I'm not going to pick one here but I'll be watching with interest - Donegal hits the Gamers and avoids the snake bite.
West Country Wyverns vs Pittsburgh House of Pain: The Wyverns are playing well this season and the House of Pain is feeling the pain - Wyverns win easily.
Coventry Owls vs Whitchurch Mouseketeers: My Owls are looking better each season but I won't predict what will happen in this one - feel free to choose your own prediction here
Oh - what the hell - Owls get another win.
Southhampton Stags vs Oslo Ice Robots: Another very interesting game this week - the Ice Robots are still looking to prove they belong in the top group and I think they do - Ice Robots will win again. Don't count the Stags out - they are going to win a lot of games this season.
Massillon Grizzlies vs Rockledge Raiders: With the news this week that the Grizzlies are going CPU this game could be a tossup - the Raiders will win this one if the Griz players are gone and CPUs fill the team - Raiders get their first win only if that is the case.
Well that wasn't too tough - now we just have to wait and see how it plays out
