Rachel Iwanthalfyerdough

Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada (Algoma District)-I was in the Algoma district today trying to catch a glimpse of the great Gotcha and after the the game and press conferences and all of the partying was done I managed to get a good interview with 2nd year owner Stumanroo of the Algoma Arena Rockers. This is a hard man to corner and must admit I was getting a little wet while staring at him during the interview I managed to concentrate long enough to get some good questions answered relating to all of the talking that has went on already this season. Here are some of the transcripts from the interview...

RI: Stu, how do feel about some owners talking about how you came into the league with a “Head full of cockiness and expecting to win it all”?

Stu: Well Rachel, as usual you are twisting things to try and make more out of it than it really is. After all it was YOU who said that not the owners. We came into A #7 confident in our abilities and our builds. We are talented but also know we are in a position right now like Hawaii playing Georgia in a Bowl game…we have talent on our team and we have gameplans but some teams we are just not ready to hang with.

RI: So you know you are not the best?

Stu: We know we have some challenges ahead and we like that! We don’t expect to kill 16 of the teams we face every season like we did in the BBB #14. That was a very weak conference in a not great league. There were really only 3-5 teams that really had much going for them and one of them couldn’t take the pressure of the move and folded already! Pansies! We are not a short term team here though Rachel, we are here for the long haul and will cycle through this league in due time…that is just what we do in Algoma…we rise above!

RI: How about your gifted but overly cocky OLB you have, Gotcha?

Stu: Rachel, I recruited Gotcha personally and can tell you that he can talk shit with the best of them. He also can back it up against some higher competition. Problem is people look at him and here his cockiness and see that his stats aren’t that great. That isn’t his fault. Algoma is a team, one man may do most of the talking but when we hit the field there are 42 guys all fighting for the same thing…a win! We compliment each other and that means the stats get spread out across the team, not just on one guy.

RI: What do you have to say to Ryan Grant 25 about his comments about Gotcha and your team?

Stu: I know what he is trying to do…it doesn’t bother me at all. Ryan stepped on my toes the second I got to this league but he is alright. He has had a tough job over there in Thunder Bay and has been working his ass off. He just didn’t realize what all we did before this to get here…it looked easy but that is because of all of the hard work done up front. As far as what he thinks about Gotcha…that is his prerogative. He wants to think Gotcha needs to shut his mouth but I say Gotcha needs to keep it going. You have seen the comments in our forums. Players and owners alike have enjoyed the activity in the forum and Gotcha’s comments and antics just help keep the place active and make it more fun…like the team evaluations done. They are nice!

RI: But how do you put up with a Gotcha?

Stu: I knew what I was getting when I recruited Gotcha. He showed me the piles of hate mail and the writings all over GLB about his cockiness. I loved it! I needed the spark for the team and he has provided it! Hell he was even name “Forum MVP” in our inaugural season in Algoma.

RI: What are your feelings about Flex Apollo and his comments?

Stu: Flex is a good TE. He may even be a great TE…I will let you know what I think later in the season about exactly what he can do. He can back up his words though...for now.

RI: How do you feel about your chances this season?

Stu: Well Rachel I would be a fool if I said we could show them all who is the best and win it all this season…2nd year promoted teams just don’t do that! These teams have seasons on us! We will make it through the season and are just planning on staying in the top of the league. First step was to win a game…we did that, and then another. Now our next step is to win the next game…one game at a time. Hopefully we make the playoffs…less than that would be a real downer though.

RI: Just one last quick question for you Stu. Which do you like better? Burritos or Quesadilla’s?

Stu: Burritos Rachel. Quesadilla’s are for pansies!

RI: Thanks for your time…it has been a REAL pleasure for me!

STU: Yeah, I know how much of a Slut you are…surprise you aren’t down there with the rest of the groupies trying to get with every member of the team!

So there you have it folks! The first interview with the mastermind behind the Algoma Arena Rockers. I am Rachel Iwanthalfyerdough and I am off to go please myself with my silver bullet!

Why is Rachel such a slut? Did her dad not approve of journalism as a career path and now she feels she must throw herself at every player and coach she interviews to win some male affection?

She's acting out on her low self esteem which is caused by senator blutarsky repeatedly declining her interview requests.
