Week 3 mostly as I predicted, but my game of the week didn't pan out and the bulldogs got put on a leash. Anyway, there looks to be a couple of slightly more interesting games this week.
CCC vs Ava. Ava looks good until you take a second look, then the holes start getting more noticiable. I see CCC pulling away in the second quarter and then blowing Ava's doors off in the second half as the depth issues really hurt Ava. CCC wins.
Oslo vs Ravens. Unlike the Bdogs, Oslo should have enough brawn to muscle through the higher level CPUs of the Ravens. Oslo wins keeping streak alive.
BOR vs Dallas. Bor also keeping their streak alive by roughing up Dallas. Bor has a chance to move up a rank or two with a big win. BOR wins.
Bobbit monkeys vs Bdogs. Well the B-dogs let me down last week, so I don't see them getting the upset against the bobo monkeys. Monkeys win.
Bastards vs Pirates. Nearly an even match. In a back and forth grind, I see the bastards winning because of slightly (very slightly) more depth and better kickers. Bastards win.
Tulsa vs Trawlers. Tulsa dooms the trawler fleet as they leave port. Trawlers do get some scores in this time, just not nearly enough to make it close. Tulsa wins.
Huskies vs FHP. Huskies finally get to chew up something besides slippers. Huskies win!
Cards vs Easy. One of the toughest prediction this week. Easy has some decent players, but also a number of players recruited from jr colleges. Cards slightly more balanced in skill, but their good players are not as good as Easy. Soooo, magic 8 ball says Easy wins their first game, but Cards make it interesting.
Game of the week: Bastards vs Pirates.
