Wasn't sure if anyone was going to do these, and since I had some time this morning I figured I would give it another shot.

Oregon Ducks vs. Colorado Storm

The Ducks are really rolling and have yet to be challenged this year. Last game they really put it on a quality opponent. The Storm just aren't the same team they were back in the old USA A #1 when they were challenging for the playoffs most years. I believe they will get it turned around, but when is the real question.

The Ducks QB Knob McDude is on fire having already thrown for 1,138 yards. Just in case you were trying to figure out what that averages out to....it's 569 ypg. The Storm have given up 416.5 yards through the air in one game and another 500+ in the other game. Things don't look good for the Storm, and the Ducks easily bring their record to 3-0 for the year. Ducks 112-6

New York Warriors vs. Megatropolis Tigers

This isn't the game of the week, but it is one of the better matchups. The Tigers really surprised me with their big win over the Storm Surge last week, and the Warriors are sitting at 1-1 but could just as easily be 2-0.

It all starts up front for the Tigers. They have a rushing attack that is led by Gwen "Legs" Stefani who is averaging JUST 513.7 ypg. It doesn't stop there though as they have 2 other rushers that are averaging 99.3 and 87.3 ypg on the ground. The Warriors last game gave up 240+ yards and 4.1 ypc, but in their first game gave up less than 100 on 33 carries. Which defense shows up will be the key to this game.

On offense for the Warriors it all starts with their QB Josh Chambers. He has thrown for 328 ypg so far this season. He has thrown 7 TD's to 2 int.'s and completes 66.7% of his passes. Space Coast had some success in the air, but still lost the game by quite a bit.

I really like the matchups in this one for both teams. I expect that both will be able to do some damage on the offensive side of the ball. The Warriors can't afford to have another 1st quarter like they did last game. This one could come down to who has the ball last. I think the Tigers get on the Warriors a little early, but the Warriors come back with their passing game to win in the end. I hate picking against the Tigers again, but.....Warriors 35-31

TCC's Wax-Bustin Warriors vs. Home Town Shockers

TCC's Wax-Bustin Warriors look good. The Shockers have been beat by a combined score of 146-14 in the last 2 games, and I really don't see this one going any easier. I still can't believe how far the "Care Bears" have fallen.

I don't think that it would take them that much to get back up to where they would be much more competitive. A lot of it would start with the owner of most of their players staying active for decent periods of time.

I think Demarcus Tribble leads the Wax-Bustin Warriors to victory, and goes over 300 yards for the game. They do seem pretty balanced with their QB Jim Warrior throwing for over 220 ypg. I like TCC's WBW's in this one big. Wax-Bustin Warriors 70-7

Eleven Wise Monkeys vs. Space Coast Storm Surge

Space Coast was my lone loss from my predictions from the last round of games. What is that old saying? Fool me once....never mind. Like I said I think the Storm Surge have done a great job building a team, and think they will only get better. The problem is that this week they are facing the Monkeys.

The Monkeys played an interesting game last week, and you can put me down as one who was very surprised by the score. Seattle has lost 2 games to two of the better teams, and certainly earned my respect.

The Monkeys get 203.5 ypg rushing from Big Red Stomper, and 435.8 ypg through the air from their QB Happy Madison. Good luck trying to decide what you are going to defend. The Surge is a team coming into this game that looks like they are trying to find an identity on offense. Of course sometimes you have an identity you just play teams that are better. Whatever the case may be the Storm Surge face another tough team, and probably to this point have had the hardest schedule. I think it will turn around for them, but not this game. Eleven Wise Monkeys 49-14

Bristol Bullets vs. Compton 'nilla Wafers

Bristol comes in to this game looking to establish themselves in the top of the East this year. While Compton comes into this game trying to capture that elusive playoff spot. A win today could go a long way in proving that they are a playoff caliber squad. Bristol really impressed me last year in their 1st year in this league, and they appear to be following that this year with the same kind of performance.

When playing Bristol you have so much to account for. Are they going to beat you on the ground with Jim "Fireball" Brown's 200 plus yards per game, or will they attack you through the air with QB Mathew Dyke's 400+ yards per game. They really appear to be one of the tougher teams to gameplan for this year. Compton played a team very similar to Bristol in their last game against TCC's WBW's.

I have always felt that Compton's biggest strength has been their running game, and if they can establish that early they will have a chance in this one. The War Kittens ran for 6.1 ypc in their game against Bristol, and Compton will have to do the same to keep this one close.

I think Bristol gets the win, but maybe Compton keeps this one a little closer....Bristol 34-21

Seattle Reign vs. USAORG Exiles

Seattle earned my respect in that last game against the Monkeys. We haven't been able to keep it that close against them in a couple seasons. The notice was served to the rest of the East and none of us will overlook your team.

The Exiles did some good things last game through the air. Both of these teams come into the game 0-2 and another loss would create a decent size hole to climb out of in the East. Seattle could argue that they have had the toughest schedule up to this point, but they have still put up points and gained a ton of yards.

They are very balanced and led by their QB Mack Walters and HB "Handsome" Rob. Together these two players account for over 460 yards per game. I think it's going to be tough for the Exiles to stay with these guys. Seattle 42-20

Columbus Buckeyes vs. Miami Sharks

Miami is coming in off a big loss to the Ducks. I didn't expect that big of a margin, and I am sure the Sharks didn't either. From one big game and good team to another. This game will most likely impact the playoff race at some point this season. With a win Miami can put themselves in good positioning for the playoff race later this year.

The Buckeyes come into this game having beat two of the best teams in the West during the preseason and are 2-0 on the year. They are led by their 3 headed monster in the backfield that is made up of Sir Run A Lot, Mini Me Run A Lot and The LAOster. Together they combine for 422.9 yards per game rushing. If the Sharks can control the Buckeyes running game they can be successful in this game. Of course that sounds easier than it is, but it should be an interesting matchup.

The Sharks have a running game of their own with Tyrone "Tank" Jackson and Adrian Petrerson. These two guys are averaging 446 yards per game. The Ducks were able to control that running game by jumping on the Sharks early and forcing them into passing plays. The Sharks QB Sammy "The Samurai" Slade is throwing for over 200 yards per game, and he will give the Buckeyes plenty to consider in this one.

They should just deflate the ball and play this one between the hash marks. I really think the Buckeyes will be too much to handle for the Sharks. I like the Sharks on paper, but the game last week against the Ducks makes it hard for me to pick them. I am going with the Buckeyes in this one....Buckeyes 38-17

Now we need a write up of the the Nighthawks vs Whorns

It will come down to can the NH stop the run. Have to put the game in favor of the Whorns as the NYW have beaten the NH two seasons running.

No matchup is the same. Should be an interesting game. I knew going in against the Warriors it was going to be a tough game, and this one has the same feel. We were pretty fortunate against NYW. They have a good team.

Y'all look every bit as good. Should be interesting, and I am really looking forward to it.

good call, we have yet to let a team score an offensive TD... luckily for your prediction they got one on defense :/

woo! nice job in that game, almost pulled out the victory even!

It's sad to see a class act like the wafers fall to another loss, but at least you proved you can hang
