Warrior General Games

The Winnipeg Warriors went into LumberJax Stadium hoping to make a respectable showing for themselves, and all they got was a 73-17 merciless beating at the hands of Vancouver.

The Vancouver offense was automatic, moving up and down the field at will all over the Winnipeg defense, while the defense was a steel enforced brick wall with titanium plating, only giving up one touchdown that went on a pass for 80 yards in the fourth, as well as an early FG.

The Warriors will use this game as a showing of where they stand in the league right now: nowhere near elite. It is tough to see a game where Vancouver falls this season, but I know I have my eyes on the Vancouver @ Dryden matchup scheduled for 12/07/08.

GG Winnipeg...you'll still be one of the top teams come playoffs. Dryden gonna kick my ass again just like they did last season.

No offense, but I don't think you should be allowed to purchase a WHOLE team like that. Part of the fun and challenge of the game is making sure your teammates are on the same page and active. By purchasing a whole team you completely circumvent that challenge and shoot yourself in the foot with an empty forum and since your boosting literally all your players, there's no way teams of similar levels can fairly compete.

By the end of the day, the only person you're patting on the back is yourself and there's no fun in that. You're better off playing Madden 09 if you're going to be like that (plus it's cheaper).

Man, thanks for telling me like it is and setting me straight. I had no idea what I was doing was so egregious...thank you for saving my soul & my sanity. My conscience keeps me awake at night thinking about this very subject. Hopefully, the Pope nominates you very soon for sainthood.

#2) No, I didn't buy the Hall of Fame package, although I should have because it would've been much cheaper.

#3) Not that I feel I have to explain my self to you, but I will anyway. I've been around this little game for a LONG time...since the beginning of Season 1 to be exact. This is the second team I've owned. My first team was the Tasmania Devils of which I still have players on. Those players as well as my players on the Toronto Turtles (which I GM)are on the "downside" of their abilities. The teams of Furious George & the Jax are simply farm teams readying replacements for my older players.


So, in closing, unless you buy the FP's for me, it's really none of your business what I do with them.

So if I understand correctly, you're not even looking at keeping this team in the future? They're all replacements for your players on OTHER teams? I take it then winning the finals with Vancouver wouldn't mean anything to you.

Here we have all these other teams in the division strategizing their hearts out, getting players ready from week to week and all you care about is banking experience? Based on your response, I can tell you don't have any sympathy for the other teams whatsoever. All you're doing is pressuring them to find a way to beat you.

Winning the championship would be very cool, because that means that I was able to beat higher level teams with my better builds & gameplans. Like they say.....Don't hate the playa, hate DA GAME!


Plus I'm married....I don't get to go to the Tittay Bars, so I have only this to spend my allowance on.
