Warrior General Games

I have done this in the past and thought I would give it a shot this time. If you don't like your team not being picked, then prove me wrong.

Riders on the Storm vs. Houston Gamblers
I have liked the way seven7 has turned this team around and he has put in a lot of work to get them to where they are. With that being said, Houston is just a better team and should win this one going away. Houston 48-10

Pontiac War Kittens vs. The Militia Minute Men
Not much to say here. War Kittens 101-3

Allen Zephyrs vs. North By Gawd Texas Tornado Humpers
Allen was in the playoffs last year and have been a good team to gauge against. They beat the teams they should and lose to the teams that are better. The team with the longer name seems to be better. Humpers 35-21

Oklahoma City Spartans vs. Bay Area Bastards
This could be the game of the week if the other one is not as good as I think it will be. OKC is probably one of the top 2 teams in the league. This will be a good test for Bay Area to see where they stand. Both teams are going to be in the playoffs. Spartans 30-21

Omaha Mavericks vs. Black Rob Training School ......LIKE WHOA!!!!
Still haven't figured out what is missing with the Mavericks, but they should be better than they have been in the past. We will not find out how improved they are in this game. Omaha 56-17

Tiananmen Tanks vs. Baker Gators
Tanks are only here for one season. Gators should be able to avoid relegation. Gators 63-13

Omaha Beef vs. Austin Longhorns
Omaha and Austin have played twice before and split the two games. The last game was a Longhorns win 99-0. This is a different Omaha team so the score will be closer, but the Longhorns still win. Longhorns 42-14

Game of the Week
Oklahoma Bears vs. Las Vegas Heat
Two teams that I do not know much about, but this is a very interesting game. They match up really well with the Heat having a very slight advantage. Heat should be able to pull this one out and need to if they want to be hosting a playoff game. The Bears are going to be one of the teams that they would be fighting for that home field spot so this game becomes even that much more important. Heat 33-24

There you have it. Should be an interesting start to the conference games with some big games that could help teams if tiebreakers become an issue for the playoffs.

I definetly don't know enough about all these teams, but I do agree that Bears/Heat is game of the week.

You can, but I don't know the East at all. I would do it otherwise. The only team I really know is Oregon because we have played them 3 times in the past 2 seasons.

It's always nice to face teams like yours early in the season before they become too dangerous. I anticipate a much closer score, though. Although not getting crazy, I'm trying some new plays in my OAI today.
