On the other hand, most of the promoted teams are better than most of the incumbents, so I doubt it matters much.

Thanks, and a good game to you guys, as well. You guys have quite a bit of talent, and we had to have nearly perfect execution to win like we did.

Now that the cross conference games are done we can move on to the true rivalry type games. The numbers will tell the tale in the end.

I've asked our owner to send over a friendly invite for a rematch if you guys are up for it. That butt whoopin' helped point out the weaknesses in my AI and I'd like a chance to see if I fixed it

This is by far my favorite post in this thread!

It will be interesting to see how these new teams hold up. Definitely the Sea Wasps beating the Hoods is one to take notice of. Great game Sydney! I'll be curious how the DECATUR STALEYS fare against the Perth Pirates this next game - that ought to give us a good gauge on the STALEYS. And the Dream vs the Sea Wasps also will say who is of a caliber to back up all the smack. I would say by the end of the third game, we'll know whose got it and who doesn't.

Yeah! Don't you remember in the preseason rankings thread? He's the one who said we would be bent over and blah blah blah...

They've been here a season. To be fair, last season was 3-13(?) I believe, but they've been here a season nonetheless.

so we were 2-2

Not too bad so far.

Tough game against Wellington this week for Swillers. Wellington is probably 10 favorite, but I won't pick against my Swillers. 28-27
Newcastle v. Sydney should tell alot too. The Dream will win be a touchdown. 24-17
