With the scarcity of information currently available to base my power rankings on (for anyone new, it's my own totally statistical formula), they are pretty volatile and even a single win/loss can make a big difference (watch either Hattgenstein or Black Country following Week 2). Nevertheless, they turned out okay after Week 1, so I'm going to post them anyway. I'll get around to putting up a spreadsheet with the data later, but here's the summary for now:

UPCOMING GAMES OF THE WEEK
Alpha Conference
Black Country at Hattgenstein - Personally, I think it is a shame that the most anticipated match-up of WEA6 Alpha is occurring in the first week of conference play. Nevertheless, I'd venture to say that 99% of the people who read this predict the Knights and Vols to end this season at 1 and 2 (pick-em on the order). Last season's game between the Vols and Knights was the most lopsided of the rivalry, but we all expect a much closer game reminiscent of the Season 3 nine-point victory for the Knights, or the Season 4 six-point victory for the Vols. Rumor even has it that Jayadano and RKS have an avatar bet on the outcome. I won't go with predictions for obvious reasons, but definitely one of the games to watch not just this week, but this season as well. GO VOLS!!!!!!!
Belfast at Maranello - Since it was pretty much a no brainer that the other Alpha game is one to watch, I'm picking the Defiance/Enzos matchup as another game of the Week in Alpha. The two teams were separated by only single game at the conclusion of Season 5, although Maranello won their head-to-head matchup last season by the slimmest of margins in a 31-30 victory. With at least 6 of the 8 playoff spots in Alpha up for grabs this season, this game should show a lot about who will expect to be fighting it out for one of the top 3 or 4 playoff positions. I'm leaning towards the Defiance to get revenge for the loss at home last season, as they look to send the full capacity crowd of 19,600 Enzo-fanatics home in tears. Line: Defiance by 5.5.
Zeta Conference
Denmark at Helsinki - I don't know as much about the Zeta conference, but I do know enough to make this the game to watch. The Destruction came on strong at the latter half of last season, which included an absolute drubbing of the Crabs (77-34). I don't expect as high scoring affair this season, but neither team would be a surprise if they come out of the regular season as the top Zeta seed. Denmark held the home field advantage in the massacre last season, and I think home field advantage gives the Crabs victory this year. I don't have any reason other than I thought the preseason win by the Crabs over the Defiance was more impressive than the Destruction's win over the Aces. Line: Crabs by 3.
SNOOZER OF THE WEEK
EEORG at Tilburg - With WEA6 resembling a who's who of slow build and rebuilding teams, there are plenty of blowouts to be expected each week. For Week 2, let's give a shout out to the Blood Ninjas and Lightning. For the second week in a row, the Lightning should score 90+ points and the Blood Ninjas should score 7 or less. I hope Tilburg doesn't need the cash from concessions, because the fans should be leaving by the end of the first quarter. Line: No Line.
