Its finally here. The first game of season 6. As we all anxiously await the sim, whats going through everyone's minds?
The teams from the BBB leagues are excited to get things underway and get a peek at their new opponents. No doubt the O.G. A#8ers are looking to do the same. Those that finished middle of the pack last season will be interested to see if those off season moves paid off. While those who fell just short of victory in the playoffs are keeping a close eye on their fellow elite competitors. There are a lot of great games this week.
It appears Rapid City will have their hands full with the Grizzlies. While I'm not to familiar with the Grizzlies, they appear to have a very solid roster. Rapid City has always been a solid club. This should be a very good game.
Colorado @ Pittsburgh looks to be a hard fought match-up between two evenly matched teams. Same goes for Detroit @ SNK and San Fran @ Rhode Island. I wish I had more to say about these games, but unfortunately I am unfamiliar with the teams. Maybe someone else has some interesting input?
New Brunswick @ DVD Talk is most definitely the game of the week, for me anyway. 2 very tough teams that come out of my old stompin grounds, the BBB#15. DVD knocked us out of the playoffs in round 2 last season and went on to lose to Rapid City in the Conference Finals, while NBSK went on to become the league champions. Both teams have been elite contenders for the past 3 or 4 seasons and I don't expect this season will be any different. This will be a fun outcome to see as both teams are used to having a win/loss cushion early on. Good luck boys! *cough*Rep it for the West, DVD!*Cough*
I can't remember the last time we had this many good match-ups in the same week. All in all, its pretty exciting.
