1A Hattgenstein Volunteers.

The Vols look to win the Alpha regular season championship fr the 3rd straight season. Not that it has helped the last two. Home field advantage will be decided in week two when the Knights come to town.

1B Black Country Knights

The only team standing in the way of the Vols making the League Championship game. They have the talent to win it. The team that doesn't might has well be handed the Alpha trophy next season.

3. London Aces.

With FMA and the Anarchists gone the Aces should lock up the 3 seed. Won't be easy though.

4. Belfast Defiance

This team has come a long way and coould cause some problems for the Alpha elite.

5. Maranello Enzos

Could finish as high as 3rd. Noic08Q is doing as good job with this team.

6. Messina Blazers

Another team that could find their way to a first round bye. They will be tested by the London Pounds in week 1 and we will see where they stand.

7. Sinsheim McAirs

Wow. An Alpha bottom feeder since the league was created look to get their first taste of the playoffs.

8. Minot Defenders

For the second year in a row they should have the 8 seed and a date with the Vols or BCK in the first round.

9. Soft Fluffy Pancake Bunnies

Here they come. Judncc has the bunnies competing for a playoff spot. It is possible

10. Reykjavik Vikings

They could finish as high as 8th.

11. Jellystone Park Bruins

They are an Alpha original but never seem to get any better. Way to stick with the team Bearmaster

12. Davenport Tigers.

New owner same team name same bad season.

13. Irish Car Bombers.

Probably the worst rush D in the conference.

14. Sunderland Charvers

This team is mostly CPU players but the owner has a great attitude I believe he could recruit enough good players to move up in this list. He also holds the greatest kicking CPU players in the history of GLB.

15. Tennessee Rattlesnakes.

CPU heaven. They get the 15 seed just for the team name.

16. Roman Revolution

I am not set on this team being in last place but I am giving it to them for now. Only place to go from here is up.


Games to watch.

Week 1.

Belfast Defiance vs Siena IL PALIO

This game will be huge for both teams.


London Aces vs Eastwick Savages

A win here for London and I think the 3 seed is a lock.


Messina Blazers vs London Pounds

A win for Messina would mean great things for the rest of the season.


Week 2.

Hattgenstein Vols vs BCK

I believe the winner will go undefeated in the regular season. The Alpha regular season crown and home field advantage will be decided in this game.


Week 14 Soft Fluffy Pancake Bunnies vs Minot Defenders

I believe this game will decide the 8 seed.


There are a lot more games that will decide how Alpha will pan out but these games are the ones that I see being the most important. Good luck everyone.

LOL, thanks for the vote of confidence. Just wish my players felt the same - our QB just demanded to be released due to lack of new signings.

Think I've put out about 130 contract offers the last few days with no luck. Still, it's early yet. Maybe they'll be keener once the season proper gets under way eh?

Interesting write up. Looks like there's some good match-ups to look out for this season. Sounds like the battle for #3 is going to be the one to watch.

No problem. If I were you I would sign anybody you can to help the team. I got 2 lvl 1s if you want them just to get some CPUs off your team.

People respond better when you have real people on the team. Mostly because CPUs don't talk in the forum.

Yeah, kind of a Catch 22 situation. Need human players to convince people to join but people won't join because of the lack of human players, LOL.

Belfast might just surprise a few, signed a big name star in sabataged's players and may make a difference for the 3rd seed and potentially a global gym?

YOu can shock BCK if you want but leave the Vols alone!

No way. They are a decent team but they are not FMA or GG. The only team i can lose to in the playoffs and not retire after is BCK.

Ok..again, its only the Stallions. but i guess this year maybe we can see who really punks out in the playoffs more, BCK or the Vols. (kinda sad that this is the one interesting question this season, at least in alpha, Zeta will be interesting to watch).
