How is it even remotely competitive to allow depleted CPU teams in this league? These guys need to be D-league they are not even worthy BBB league status. It is obvious after the recruiting rush that these owners have no intention of even attempting to build a squad. At least if they had a squad of mid teen ranked guys you'd know they were trying.

I'd have to disagree, after 4 seasons the East has NEVER won the BBB #8 championship:
New York Grizzlies lost to the Honolulu Hurricane Warriors in season 2
Pittsburgh Steel lost to the Tampa Bay Grey Hounds in season 3
Toronto Turtles lost to the Northwest Arkansas Naturals in season 4
Huntsville Rockets lost to Philadelphia Continentals in season 5
And of course when we (the Bandits) played Bridge City in the conference runner-up scrimmage last season we were beat pretty handily. The west was definitely the better conference the first 4 seasons BBB #8 was around. I don't think this season will change that, the teams left in the east don't look to good.
I do take offense at BBB #8 as a whole a "shit league" when you consider the number of championships that "Ocho Alumni" have won:
Honolulu Hurricane Warriors have won championships in A #4, AA #2, AAA #1
Pittsburgh Steel have won championships in A #4, and AA #2
Toronto won last season's A #4 league title
The Naturals won the A #4 western conference last season
So ever since season 3, which was the first season BBB #8 teams started being promoted to this league, they have won the league championship every season. The east is a joke, honestly. It always has been. there usually is one team that comes up and runs the east, then it beats the west team by a TD in the finals. Its really kind of funny. Same thing happened to the squirrels in BBB #7. Ran the table, lost in the championship game.
