During the 2nd quarter of the Perth / Warchicken game the Perth HB scored a TD which got credited to the Warchickens.

Nah, I just let my FS's run it in from the 1 yard line on a regular basis...

Thats a goal line issue. It uses 2 te's and if you do not have one on the depth chart it will take the FB, then the hb plays fb, and it takes the next best guy to play hb which in this case was your FS. Last season it would take our wr.

Yeah. I used to use a backup OT as our #3 TE so that they would come in on goalline situations at TE (though they did get a few receptions and rarely ever seemed to drop the ball). A backup FB would work well though too, but I'd go for a balanced one tbh (so they have decent blocking, but if I were to use a backup FB they'd be playing 3-4 different positions).
