I'm confused, you guys won the title and moved up to AA#3 after season 4. Why are you back here again?

They must have asked for it - thats weak as piss.

They forgot to renew, somehow got relegated down to BBB, but didn't get the team wipe, then somehow managed to get moved back to A instead of AA. I call it a less-than-stellar handling of the situation by Bort and Co.

That is just pitiful. I don't blame the Triple B's, unless they actually requested the move. If they did request the move then I just recommend everyone pull their starters every single game, turn off the AI, set energy settings to 0, and let them go 16-0 and get them out after this season.

I realize this is beta but gimmee a break. This is a team that went 13-3 in AA when almost anyone in A5 West would be lucky to go 8-8.

I have sent a message to the support forum, I have no idea if it will have any effect or not.

As long as they didn't request it then you can't blame them, but if I were the owner of the Triple B's, I would still try and get back to where I think I belong.

Until one of them talks up we don't know.

Everything about this seems shady. You won this league. You were a top playoff seed in a higher league. Now you're back to the league you already won???

Actually, I think some of this got resolved due to a post I made in the GLB section of the forum Nov. 3rd.

I had players on teams in both AA#3 (where Triple B's originally was) and BBB#10 (where they got moved to during relegation). I made a post about how a team could go 13-3 in AA and get bumped down to BBB where most of the players are levels 16-20 and their player are level 27-33.

Eventually word came down that when the relegations were made, Triple B's forgot to renew, and got bumped down to BBB. However, since the "gutting" script was intended to be run at a later date, they got to keep all their players. Since their slot in AA was already given to another team who had recruited higher-level players to compete, they had to find another team in either A or AA that was willing to drop down to BBB in a team swap. My guess is that they found a team in A5 that was willing to go down.

I don't blame Bort for this situation; I blame Triple Bs management/ownership. Bort has to do things that make it fair for other teams, but also make it fair for the players on Triple B's who had nothing to do with the situation - they shouldn't be penalized by being removed from a team because of the mistakes the team owner makes.

Sad situation all around, but I think Bort made the best decision he could under the circumstances. Triple B's aren't infallible - the teams in A5 were good last year, and will be even better this year.

We did not request the move. The owner was in the hospital and was unable to renew.So we were going to get wiped. We managed to get the renewal and not get wiped but they couldnt find us a spot anywhere else.

Being sick sucks arse. Being sick and trying to runa team sucks two arses.

its also amazing how druez got niagra into AA3 EASTERN conference instead of the WESTERN

Just to clarify, I made a post in the MAIN GLB BLITZ forum about our team and how we don't want to be here... This is no fun for our team either guys.. I can promise you we did not do this to skirt competition..

I will look for the thread to show you guys we did try... The GM's on Triple are all very knowledgeable and have been around for quite some time.. Its not fun going backwards..
