West Power Rankings

Alright ladies and gentlemen, season 6 is upon us. Let’s get this thing started with some preseason polls.

1. Prince George Kings
Trying not to be too biased here, but the Kings have a solid returning cast from an undefeated team last year. Solid lineup, not too many holes. Watch out for these guys.

2. Winnipeg Wrath
A very solid team capable of beating PGK. VERY deep roster, should keep starters fresh and ultimately end in better play. This is a championship caliber team. Only negative is obviously chemistry, which could be a major hit early.

3. Verdun Invictus
Another newbie in the top 3. Solid team all around, just not at PGK or WW’s level. They still should keep up at the top, expect them to make some noise come playing time. Chemistry also an issue.

4. Grim Afterlife
Should be a factor now that SD and such are gone. They are very close to Verdun, maybe even higher as their chemistry is close to perfect.

5. Winnipeg Falcons
These guys are just always their, and no matter the talent differential, always play with teams. This year they have the talent to compete, lets see if they can keep up the consistent overperforming.

6. Saulte Ste Marie Silver Bullets
They would be higher, but their major lack of depth is a HUGE concern right now. Unless they have guys committed, which I’m sure they do, they could be in trouble. If they have guys coming, watch out- they could easily be in the top half.

7. Spooner Snow Fleas
They won their conference last year, so that’s something. They should contend, just not at the top.

8. Atlanta Flash
That’s right, the Flash make the playoffs in season 6. They have a decent roster and should make a run.

So level 3 and 4 guys count as depth now?

Thanks for the writeup hater - I'm looking forward to outperforming your list here again this season.

Thanks for doing this for the league, even though I am more concerned with the east of course.

no, wasn't counting those guys- they have a lineup where the backups are close to the starters, and at certain positions (LB, WR) they have a lot of guys there

Here's my take on it.

1. Prince George Kings
They're good all around and are good at gameplans. Probably should have moved up instead of the Lights.

2. Verdun Invictus
New team that obviously hit the streets recruiting. Should have a good defense, but I haven't seen them play to know their tactical abilities.

3. Winnipeg Falcons
Yeah I'm biased too.

4. Grim Afterlife
Neck and neck with the Falcons. I think the team that draws the easier inter-conference game will finish ahead there.

5. Winnipeg Wrath
Pretty good depth but I'm just not seeing it the same as cubshater. They'll be a playoff team for sure, but I need to see some plays from them before I move them up any.

6. Saulte Ste Marie Silver Bullets
Good team but are hot/cold sometimes, which to me usually means tactical/AI issues.

7. Ohio Valley Legends
They've been on the slow growth plan, but the longer you are in this games, the closer the gaps are between teams. They have good builds for the levels, and won't be steamrolled by anyone, but won't be rolling any themselves either.

8. Spooner Snow Fleas
Their defense will be their achilles and offense looks to be somewhat one dimensional. It will be feast or famine for them in games. If they can score early and get teams on their heels, they'll do well.

one dimensional offense? i doubt it. we got T.O at WR so we will kill in the passing game. and we got 2 good QB's with us also

Wrath are probably better than the Invictus right now I know for a fact they have damn solid game planning and our chemistry is shot to hell

That's true - the Fleas do have a lvl 18 WR with 23 drops and 57 catches against easier opponents. Definitely a powerhouse receiver. I hope you put all your focus into the throwing game.

Owens was boosted before the conference championship game. so he was level 14-15 when he had those drops. since than he has dropped 5 at the most
