Hey All

Just wanted to see how the rookie franchises are doing after 2 games. I'm part of the Buckingham Wild Boars and we had a very close opening game, but were trounced in our second game. As the majority of our team consists of players under level 5 we are going to have a hard time, but I was wondering how other teams in a similar position are fairing so far this season =)

We are in a similar situation however we are 2-0 but that wont last long.

My team is now 2-0 and we are one of the top teams in our league.
Our majority of players consists out of lvl 5 and up....

I'm from the (possibly soon to be renamed) Turin Aftershocks.

We got ripped in the first game because we had virtually no offesnsive or defensive line, but in the second game we pulled off a major upset and beat a team that was all Level 7's that were created by the owner.

Right now, I think we are sitting pretty good. I just hope we get another chance at the team that beat us in the playoffs.

We're in AA # Zeta and 1-1-0. Close first game, kicking cost us in the end 23-24 but we should have been beaten by more looking at the two teams side by side, so can't really complain.

Won the second and looking forward to the rest of the season.

I GM a team in AA#3 we won the first game and were hammered in the second due to a terrible DL but we have some more humans now and expect not to get relegated, playoffs are a long shot

That was a close one Arya - it's a shame it had to be settled with a couple of missed kicks. Overtime would have been fairer.

Nah we talked about it before and were expecting a 7 point defeat so we can't be too disappointed that we didn't pull it out. We're happy that we could compete and will be much better towards the end of the season. Hopefully we'll be able to kick by then too!

Speaking of the EW AA #2, what do you think of Mancherster and the Panthers?

Owner of Rome Gladiators here. We're 0-2 right now. It's been touch picking up players. These new guys want so much money. But I think we'll be competitive throughout the season.

What's up with the Seattle Supersonics in Euro-West AA#4. These cat's changed their name and their roster is depleated.

Well the Buckingham Wild Boars and now 0-3 for the season. A big loss and a few things to think about before our next game. At least my FB is getting a lot of snaps and XP =D

GM/OF for Messina Blazers...this is really fun...but...is anyone else having problems signing players...seems like I sent hundreds of offers and very few signed...just thinking out loud...

Gladiators are now 0-3 Lost a heartbreaker to Those drunk guys 16-13. Missed a fg and had an extra point blocked in the game. We play another undefeated team next game.

There are alot of players on free agent lists that were created and have been siotting their since last season.

One of the problems might have been if they were created at the start of the off-season so there were no matches for a fair amount of time. Either that or they are holding out for a much larger contract then they will realistically get.
