Warrior General Games

I was cruising some other forums and saw that some had already done preseason rankings. I know recruiting hasn't finished up yet but I was curious to find out who people thought were the top 10 teams in the Elephant Conference. Feel free to post away and I will post mine in a bit.

I hope Maine got into the Preseason top 10!!

I think were pretty close.

I would like to see the same for the league or both conferences. go lion conference!

OK mine ended up just being a top 8. These are the early favorites for the playoffs. The nice thing about this season is I don't think anyone will go undefeated. Its going to be a wide open race.....hopefully.

Preseason Top 8 Elephant
1)Cairo Mummy Warriors- The only team left in Elephant w/ a playoff win last season. They also hold victories over all the returning teams.

2)Casablanca Golden Eagles- Beat Cairo in the regular season by before gettin spanked in the playoffs by them. Well balanced team w/ solid leadership.

3)Carthage Mercenaries- My team. I wanted to put them #2 but since we haven't beat CGE in 3 seasons I couldn't.

4)Nigerian Nightmares-Any of these top 4 have a legit shot at the the title. NN beat CGE but lost to Carthage. They will scare a lot of teams

5)Freetown Jayhawks- 8 seed in the playoffs last season look to take it to a whole nother level this season and get homefield.

6)Madagascar Grand JagerMenze-Should make the playoffs but we will see.

7)Maine Freeze-The top newcomer to Elephant. They have done a good job recruiting but still have some holes

8)Rhodesian Ridgebacks- Right there with Maine. It should come down to who' the better gameplanners.

Good to see were in the top 8, weve been recruting hard, but as you said do still have some holes.

Thanks for putting us 2nd but we have some work to do as well. All these teams have a chance but its going to come down to the top 6 teams...no disrespect noobs, but there is a talent gap between #6 and the rest. This will be interesting for sure, good luck everyone!

that would be nice and I believe we can beat anybody in this league but realistically I think we'll probably lose a game or two this season.

I think you guys have the best team in the league...no shit, and I'm sure Casablanca will lose a few but the playoffs is where we are looking. We have had great games in the past and I hope this season is the same. Good luck Cairo!

King of Sting is progressing nicely.
We went 22-0 last season as a slow-build if you can imagine that. I was amazed to say the least. We're a year away and have no aspirations of making waves this year. We're supposed to be a capped 2nd year expansion team; so to be sporting Gold already, and get promoted, is way ahead of schedule.
Hope you guys can secure some hardware this year, best of luck!!!
