Hey all,

After this past season, the New Zealand Burning Pride realized that the league was going to be getting more competitive faster than we could keep up. Realizing this, we've elected to rebuild. We're trying to get relegated, but if it doesn't happen I apologize in advance for there being a doormat on the schedule. I know how much of a pain that is.

Anyways, I suppose this also means that it's open season on NZBP players; a lot of our guys are committed to teams already, but personally Pietro and Kazenzakis aren't. I'd prefer to keep one of them in O-Pro. I can definitely vouche for any of the agents on that team; they're all good people. Sorry again, guys.

Last season was a good, competitive year.

This one is looking considerably more polarized.

My question to those who are announcing this now: why not 3 days ago when massive relegation/promotion could've equalized things?

Can't speak for anyone else, but in our case some key players asked to be released in the past two days, and that made the situation more immediate than we were planning, since our depth wasn't spectacular to begin with.

Yeah, one one hand I don't like to see that either, but realistically it's progress. The difference now seems to be that teams are dropping while thry're still pretty competitive, like rtt and nebp, since they see the writing on the wall.

That's kind of what I thought. Its too bad . . . although I totally understand how it happens and who, considering the market, it would be nearly impossible to continue in competitive manner.

I hope my question wasn't accusatory. I didn't mean it that way
