Warrior General Games

So what are the happenings so far.

We've had 4 teams go CPU, with a 5th a possibility.

We've had at least one team merger.

We've had 6 new teams, each of which will contribute significantly to our league.

West Scranton has gotten a lot better, and they were really good to begin with.

Frankly, I'm thinking Tonga will be lucky to make the playoffs this year. Recruiting is a bear, and while the league as whole is getting better, we're just trying to keep up. Should make for an exciting season.

How about you? How are you feeling about the upcoming season?

Yeah, recruiting is tough this season as it is every season. I do feel the pressure as an owner to keep the Gods in the top tier of the league with the successful tradition that we have established. We're in the second offseason after our ownership change, and I hope we can complete the rebuilding of our foundation going into Season 6. The dual task of rebuilding our foundation and keeping ourselves in the playoffs is very challenging. So far our success can be attributed to our whole team effort when it comes to recruiting and tactics. I have a great group of agents, and I hope I can reward all their hard work with a long playoff run this season.

Crushers have made minor additions mostly replacing departures with an upgrade now and then. We have a couple of new faces on defense that are definite upgrades. I concur with The Hawk on recruiting, if that smooth tongued devil is frustrated you can only imagine how tough it is for us who just pick up the scraps.

I just hope that the Crushers live up to what is expected in this fine league. We are working our tail off to come in and be competitive in what is one of GLB's toughest regions. When the Scrimmage Seasons starts count us in on any tournament action, we have never shied away from any competition.

I'm hanging on to a thin thread as usual.

Melbourne had a great recruiting season, I think at least. We brought in some new agents, all with just 1 player, and we brought in some other players from agents already on the team. Some of our backups pursued starting jobs elsewhere.

All in all, I'd like to think we improved, but the league got a lot better with the extra promotion. I know Alpha had some post-promotion guttings, which was unfortunate -- so far, I think Zeta avoided that, meaning it will be tough sledding to fight for a playoff spot this season.

Regardless, looking forward to the increased level of competition!

MTD is the team to beat in Zeta this season. SCACE has been off the hook.

Still short on WR depth, imo.

Yeah recruiting is always tough, but we added a lvl 36 WR, a 33 DT(who's taking my playing time ), a 31 G, a 32 DE, a 32 G, and a 31 T, and Alex's CB isn't getting any worse, so we've done a good job this offseason. The only thing we still need is a TE. If we get a good TE watch out Zeta

I think we have a lot to prove before we're the "team to beat" in Zeta. Until proven otherwise, that title belongs to the Nites for playoff success and Brisbane for regular season success.
