That was hilarious. I guess he is already conceding that he can't win in either A or AA. I thought they had the 3rd or 4th best team in this league this season.

yes..... it's pure fear.

Or it's the fact that after finally earning our way up into this leauge, it still feels like we're in BBB 1. Not by coincidence, most recruits look at it the same way.

As it sits right now, if it's approved, we'll be taking our act to an AA league.

If not, we look forward to being the best 3 or 4 seed we can be....

I can see you maybe jumping to AA from BBB with the season you had.

But jumping straight from BBB to AAA? That's ignorant.

Oh, and by the way, we're probably headed to AAA#1

I don't look at us as a bbb to a team though..... i think we proved that we could compete with pretty much any team last season. I mean, looking at the preseason rankings, the Denton Spartans are predicted (by the league) to be the number 2 seed in one of the AAA leagues. We had a 14 point lead on them in the 4th of a scrimmage last season, and they had a great goalline stand with less than a minute left to keep us from taking the lead back. If we can compete with a top 2 team in that league, why can't we compete with the rest of the league?

I guess it's your choice. But I'd like to prove to myself that I can at least compete in a league full of solid competition for an entire season before I wanted to jump up 3 leagues in one move.

Sure, you did well in a scrimmage against Denton. You do realize that the vast majority of teams do nowhere near the same game planning and scouting for a scrimmage as they do for a regular season league game right?

I mean, YOU may have done a ton of prep work, scouting, and game planning for those games because you had something to prove. The teams well above you had nothing to prove and I doubt did a ton of legwork for those games. I know we didn't.

I'm sure you'll do well in A1. But do us a favor and go through at LEAST AA with only a 3 or 4 loss season before declaring yourself ready for AAA. Because I'm not particularly sold yet that you'll even go through A1 with less than 2 losses.

when we play scrimmages, we do little if zero prep work. We use our scrimmages to find exploits, and flaws in our base AI packages.....

all you need for proof of that, is to look at our game vs. the Chi Mustangs... No way in hell I'd do that much medium/long passing in a game against a D-Line of that caliber if I took the time to gameplan for it.

The truth is, outside of 2-3 other good teams, this league feels an awful lot like the one we just left, and I for one, am bored as hell of a game where we can go 3 games straight without making any tactical adjustments and still win.

And this isn't to take anything away from teams like OKC, Austin, and South Otto. All 3 are teams that we would have to be on our toes against. I'd rather have to be on our toes for 10, 12, 14 games though.

One final factor in us wanting to move up, is that we only have 10 seasons before our players start to decline. Any level that we can skip gives us a chance of actually making the Pro's before we have to retire these guys.

I still think going from BBB to AAA is a little ridiculous.

Go to AA and prove yourself then move to AAA.

Start new players to take the place of your older ones later on.
You don't think everyone feels the way you do about playing in the pros?
Why should you gain prefrence over everybody else?
Are you really that special?
I don't think so!!!!!!!!!

You don't think everyone feels the way you do about playing in the pros? just about, yes. there are also a lot of teams fooling themselves.
Why should you gain prefrence over everybody else?because I was smart enough to seek a league swap?
Are you really that special?iq tests place me just a notch above mental retardation, so special, but not THAT special unfortunately
I don't think so!!!!!!!!!

not everyone...... there's an owner in AAA2 that's saying we would be a 4 seed in that league.
