While we don't really know how many teams will move up (or down) we do know the conference champions will be moving up from A1 and A2.

Considering we have both a Cairo and a Cannibal team, I think the CC should do a name change.

Congrats to all of them....but it's probably going to be VERY hard for those guys to compete....they are just giving up waaay to many levels right now.

I agree with Jooles. In fact, my team looks eerily similar to theirs and the Hutu made the playoffs at 8-8. If anything, our league is going to get even tougher from here on out.

Yea...that almost works around here.....almost. Don't get so defensive, you know as well as I do that you are going to have to work, and depending on if you are a group of RL friends, or just random Joe's you may want to think about some recruiting in the offseason. I mean it wasn't long ago that your league was capped, right?

Part also depends on how many teams wind up staying here. Elephant conference is just flat nasty. Lion is good as well, but not as deep. Kigali is in the process of going CPU, so will be gone as well and probably Ghana won't be here either, but that still leaves Zanzibar and EEORG as top teams with Cairo, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, and perhaps Rwanda in the mix. If Kigali and the Nationals had hung around, Elephant would have been really nasty.

We will know more when they get everything sorted out and we see who is actually still here.

While the other teams may have levels here dont sleep on the teams that just moved up. I would bet money Cairo and RMOG will be in the playoffs.

Levels dont mean everything and these arent your typical capped league teams coming up.

Gonna be fun.

Trust me, these guys know that level don't mean everything.

This league is very lucky Ghana moved up though.

Speak for yourself. haha. Between RMoG, Dakar, and Cairo, the new teams are definitely going to shake things up a bit here.

I've been on enough promoted teams to know the old song and dance - the old hats think the new teams will be a pushover. They're usually eating those words by playoff time.

Hey I'm all for the competition. But it's up to you to prove me wrong.

Tactically for most of the teams that are "old hat" it will make sense to boost at the beginning of the season, as we are mostly at the levels where the xp becomes baseline.

For the new teams, looking at long term, it would make more sense to hold off boosting, gain the better xp and play a little "catch up". But that may jeopardize you making the playoffs...not to mention maybe grabbing one of those all important home games. So it will be interesting to see what the new teams strategies are.
