Excellent game Brown Bay!

You have an awesome rushing defense, we had some open holes in their but your DT's managed to hold our HBs at the line of scrimmage in crucial situations. I knew it'd be extremely tough to get pressure on your QB and I was right b/c we didn't even get a single hurry. On the other hand, our OL held your DL to just 1 hurry, which is extremely impressive.

Your QB was supremely accurate and that was the difference in the game, your DBs made some shoestring tackles at critical points in the game that would've been TD's for us.

Congrats and we'll see you in AA in season 6!

Zeta is good but not > Alpha IMO, had the Spanish Inquisition or say the Barcelona Chupacabras played in the Championship game....East Berlin Blitzkrieg would have absolutely destroyed them

You can brag once your team makes it past the 1st round of the playoffs

I just found out our defense didn't give up a single rush TD all playoff.

Barcelona yes....Spanish no....hell, we were beating BBay with :40 to go and held them to less points than you did...

its clear that Zeta>>>>>>>>>>Alpha

oh, an incase anyone was wondering, despite the recent popularity of putting WR's at QB in the NFL, it DOES NOT WORK in GLB. We put our WR's in at QB, made some other funny changes like FB's and TE's at WR ONLY TO BLOCK. All of our HB's/FB's rotated through with 99/100 settings and put our run % at 100. We were trying to try an option/wildcat/notre dame option type offense. bad idea. BAD BAD IDEA. It just doesn't work. dont do it. It was funny to watch our WR's get creamed though. They whine a lot

I don't know about the Barcelona Chupacabras, but they have a W agianst you guys at the beginning of the season.

Spanish Inquisition is the only 1 team has the lead in the fouth quater aginast us.
we score the game winning TD in last 40 second to kick them out of the champtionship match, or they could kick EBBs @ss.

I would still like to play Brown Bay. Let's scrim this early next season.

Sure, Barcelona beat us us in the pre-season, but that was way before I installed my new suffocating defense.

As far as Zeta > Alpha goes...in season 4 Sparta lost to Hungary only by a last minute TD 27-23. This season, if it weren't for EBB not converting 2 critical 3rd down plays, we could've had won.

Zeta has far more doormats than Alpha does, which equates to a much easier road to the playoffs and absurdly inflated stats...and they'll have even more in season 6 when the CPU teams descend into Zeta from EE AA #5

Just to be clear, and perhaps put this thread back on track, Zeta certainly has the right to claim they are better. They are 2-0, so you simply can't argue w/ numbers.

Obviously any owner that has put time and effort in this team feels strongly about it. I think there are some good teams at the very top of both Alpha and Zeta, and hopefully we can continue to play each other as time goes on.

Now let's stop with the Alpha -vs- Zeta stuff..

I think his DT's have arms the size of redwood trees

This is the first thing that new owners must learn about GLB:

Get the very best DT's that you can, then get the best OLmen and you will win

There is no disputing that Zeta is 2-0 in titles games vs Alpha

But it sure as hell could've been the other way around
