Warrior General Games

I am saddened to say that the Grinnell Pioneers are breaking up at the completion of season 5. Bulletbait (our owner) has lost interest in the game. We looked into the possibility of handing the reigns over to someone on the team, but those who would be interested already own teams and with the number of players leaving, it would have been a massive rebuilding job for anyone else who had wanted to take over.

OPL is a fantastic league with a great group of owners and GMs. While I haven't been terribly active on the forums this season, I have followed them. The level of activity, the class, and the creativity coming out of OPL cannot be rivaled by any other league.

As the defensive coordinator of the Pioneers. I'd like to thank the rest of OPL for a tremendous lesson in humility this year. I learned a lot.

Best of luck to everyone next season, and good luck to MM and the 'Nites in today's final.

Man..very sad to hear...GP was one of the best for a long time moving up through the ranks in Oceania. Its too bad you guys couldn't find a way to keep it together. Best of luck wherever you land!

Sorry to hear that, though I suspected as much after what must've been a harder season than expected.

Although sad to hear, at least both teams not returning next season are from different conferences.
