Not to you guys in A2, but to my team.

I am not sorry for thinking that higher forces are keeping me down here in A2, but yet sorry for publicly embarrassing my team by posting my frustrations in A 2 forums. My team deserves better than that. They have stuck by me for 5 seasons and I owe them more than that.

All that I can say is that I am not a quitter. 5 seasons I have owned this team and 5 seasons we have made the playoffs. We have yet to advance into the championship game, but that will not stop me from trying again. We will hit the recruiting market hard. I already have some players lined up.

Thank you A 2 for the tough competition that you have given us. It has been the toughest of the tough. The best of the best. IMO.

I must give you credit if this is actually meant as the way I have read it. You have had good teams as most of us here in A2. I am glad to see you are sticking around and not throwing in the towel as it appears alot of owners have done GLB wide. I hope to competition remains tough here and to tomarrows winner best of luck in AA, but I am sure you will continue to monitor the A2 forums as all that have left do.

Don't quit. You have a good team. You guys could compete with the teams in USA AA1 but in a single game with evenly matched teams (more or less) ... sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

Graciously accept the loss and congratulate the winners. Blaming "higher forces" is disrespectful to the team you just lost to.

The funniest part about this is that you keep bringing it up, and I keep getting a mental picture of some pimple faced 14 year old skinny little boy who just got home from a day of being spit on in rudimentary PE class, but he comes to a family that can't stand to see him either... then he proceeds to sit down and take an hour out of his day to make fake accounts, copy avatars over, then proceeds to act like a winner for once in his life and pretends to be me.

That's really the best part of it to me now. The other amusing parts are:

1. No mod ever spoke to me about it.
2. The first two mods that got wind of it figured out it was a hoax before I even saw it.
3. It wasn't original apparently. Some douchebag whose family can't stand him went down to the prank well before me - and it actually worked that time?

Not to mention if the webmaster of the website wasn't a complete douche and actually gave us that IP address the scammer would have been permabanned on GLB. Oh well, looks like AK lucked out on that one. Yet again, if I were in his shoes with that player, and GM'ing THOSE teams, I'd want to get permabanned to end the pain.
