Damn... Sorry.. this game deserves its own thread...

Sometimes you just aren't supposed to win... Wife Carriers lose by a missed extra point and give up a TD with 1 minute left...

-On the 1st drive we fumbled at your 4 yard line
-Our workhorse back Norris has fumbled twice all season in 16 games and lost two fumbles this game alone.
-WR fumbled inside your 30 yard line was returned 70 yards for a TD to tie it up instead of pushing to a 2 TD lead.
-The 2nd Norris fumble came on our last drive as he already had the 1st down and we would have run out the clock right there.

So we have 3 fumbles, 2 preventing our own TDs (one turned into 6 for you), and the 3 would have won us the game.

Oh yea. And we missed a fucking extra point.

Sorry if I am a little pissed here, but we work all season to lose like this and its rough.

Thats football... we had our turnovers too, but losing because of a missed extra point is always tough.

It was a very good game, probably deserved to go into overtime.


Now we face RR - guess thats what LT dreamed of since losing last time..

missed extra points happen. yes. Fumbles happen. yes. but what gets to me if\s the player who fumbled twice in this game probably has one of the best builds for holding on to the ball (as shown by only 2 fumbles in 16 games). And then you throw in the timing (1st drive and last drive), and it just gets to you.

But I do agree, Football is Football. Good Luck next game.

Athens has been a turnover machine this year. We force fumbles, we make picks, we simply aren't the best team most of the time, but win games, and that's what counts.
