Thought Id help analyse the game for you guys..

Istanbul 14-2 (1st place)

the best team outright in alpha. they probably have the strongest defense line in the league. Kramnik, To'afa and Anand have stats to prove how dominant they are. They also have good LBs and have intimadating CBs and safteys. on offense they are well balanced. mainly due to their freakish oline. Jonny Magic has only been sacked once in reg season so that is evident enough of how dominant this oline is. Overall, this is a well rounded team, and probably the only team in alpha that can beat teams like sharks and legion in zeta (much respect to other teams)

Offense: 8.5/10
Defense: 9/10
Overall: 9/10

Riga Renegades 10-6 (7th Place)

this team so far in the playoffs have gone under the radar. CONVINCINGLY beating their opponents. Alpha owners knew Istanbul was the team to beat and who wouldve thought it would be Riga contending? I didnt and thats the truth. But this just shows us how good their management is. Defensively they are dominant at stopping teams on third downs. they donnot have any players that scream out like how istanbul have, but they do the job and they do it well. they have one of the best CB's in the game in Gustav and he could have a great game against this istanbul. Offensively, they have a much better pass attack then istanbul and the way Romo has played in the playoffs against wrath and tiger sharks, it wouldnt amaze me if he did the same thing against istanbul. he also had a good reg season so the offense will be on his shoulders. Overall, a great team that does their job well. this could be close. Probably the best pass offense in alpha?

Offense: 8.5/10
Defense: 8/10
Overall: 8/10

Key matchups to look at:

Istanbuls Dline vs Riga's Oline- who will dominate the trenches and can the oline stop the fury of kramnik, To'afa and Anand?

Romo vs Istanbul's Pass defense- can romo pick apart the defense like they did in their previous two games?

C Rainy vs Riga's run defense- can rainy dominate against this rush defense?

Gata Kamski vs Riga's secondary and LB's- will Kamski dominate like he did in the reg season? or will he get his ass shut down?

predictions: Istanbul, by 7

I hope the Sharks and the Gangsters both win tomorrow morning. I would love to see the Sharks DEs go against Istanbul's o-line. Hard to believe that Magic was only sacked once in the regular season...

Vladimir wasn't happy with this analysis. You shouldn't make him mad.

Hey, with a quarterback named Romo, I am surprised they got that far into the playoffs. J/k. Gangsters vs. the Legion. It is going to be an interesting Wednesday morning...

Congratulations Istanbul. You guys just have our number, and your D-line always dominates ours.

We kept it close for a while, but the defense can only play for so long before the offense has to get something going...

Yall played well, and Vlad is easily one of the best DTs in GLB.

Yeah, Vlad is the most frustrating Dlineman Ive had to gameplan against.
Good game Istanbul.

fwiw, knowing vlad kramnik intimately, there is just something ridiculous about him. In his very first game ever before he'd developed any stats at all he had something like 3 hurries and 2 sacks and 11 tackles.
