So:
3 CPU's in AAA1
2 CPU's in AAA2
1 CPU in PRO
So 6 additional Teams moving to AAA besides the 2 up and 2 down?? So it is a good beat that the 4 remaining Teams in AA1(2 Lion and 2 Elephant) will be moving up???...but that is about it???

Can someone find me the link on how Bort describes the process of teams moving up? Like the list of qualifications that teams need to meet and such. Im not sure where all his old announcements are.

you are forgetting about teams who don't renew their contract at the end of this season. There could be more cpu teams

What goes on in AAA2 doesn't really affect us, but will make a difference for AA3 and AA4. We also share any spots with AA2 for moving up to AAA1. Remember that PRO is also affected by both AAA1 and AAA2.
Unless a lot of teams gut/don't renew, then my guess is it will basically be the top 4 in each league moving up (Conference finalists). The other thing that can cause the number of teams to go up is if the owner requests to be regulated down a league. (this would be in the case of a higher league team that was gutted and is rebuilding, but not yet being close to competitive).
I don't have Bort's original link, but the first criteria were how far you got in the play offs. After that, it broke down into records, points scored, points allowed, etc.
Part of the issue is it will likely take a season or two to clean up the mess. Teams that are not low enough to get regulated, but are clearly rebuilding and not competitive with the rest of the league will remain for the next season unless their owner requests a move down. Even if they move down, they still may not be competitive (same for regulated teams) in their new league. There are teams above us now that would wind up being one of the bottom teams even in this league, but how far would they drop down? I don't know that they will drop CPU teams all the way down (They should). Lot of questions to be answered and Bort was not clear in his post about this (will teams move more than one league down). I don't see any team moving up skipping and going from A to AAA for example.
Regardless, I think TJ, Beltway, DD, and Kigali are out of here. Anyone beyond that, I would be surprised. If AA2 sends 4 teams up (conference finalists) that would be 8 new teams in AAA from AA and you figure some PRO teams are coming down as well, so that would be a huge amount of change in AAA as it is. That would also make AAA pretty damm brutal as far as the competition goes too.
