Playoffs - Round 2
------------------
55.88 (54.94) - Chernobyl Disaster over Krakow Krakodiles
-Previous meeting: 52-24 (Disaster)
-The Disaster has dominated almost every opponent. The score of the first matchup may seem like the same ole story. But Krakow threw 2 INTs (while each traded a fumble). Without those, it would have been a close game. This Round 2 matchup may be closer than it seems. Krakow has proved they can knock off a top team (East Berlin) and now have another chance for a big win.
55.74 (53.43) - Brown Bay Packers over Targoviste Impalers
-Previous meeting: 17-13 (Impalers)
-Targoviste got what could be the upset of the season with the narrow Week 6 victory. Most of the Impalers losses were close games, but they aren't nearly as dominating as Brown Bay. The only way Targoviste will win again is if they can keep the score low. It will be a tough assignment against a powerful Packers offense. Will lightning strike twice?
53.42 (52.01) - Spanish Inquisition over Belgrade Bears
-Previous meeting: 45-21 (Inquisition)
-The previous meeting between these teams was late in the season. It could be a good indicator of the outcome. However, the Bears have shown they are for real the last 2 games. After close loss to the Disaster followed by an upset of the Chupacabras, the Bears are looking to make a statement. This may be closer than before, but the Inquisition should still win.
50.69 (50.23) - East Berlin Blitzkrieg over Romania Roadhouse Rowdies
-Previous meeting: 34-27 (Blitzkrieg)
-The numbers say this is the most even matchup and the late season meeting also reflects that. There is really no way to predict it. The previous meeting produced no turnovers, so if either team can get a turnover, they could win the game. If not, it will just go to whoever has the ball last or whoever gets TDs instead of FGs.
