Any agents that want to vote for a pro bowl ballot, just pm me with your choices, I don't care if they are on your team or not. I will then tally them up. Because of arguments from the past two attempts at doing this, I will make a Lion and Elephant team based on who I get. There will be a primary and backup at each position. Also, anyone can pm me with a ballot. Please specify which division your pick is in and what team. If you play in elephant, you can still vote for Lion and vice versa, just put both ballots on one pm. I will tally votes on the 30th (Next Thursday). Once I tally them, I will not take anymore, so I could do it at 6am or 3pm, whenever I get a moment at work. I do encourage you to be realistic though. We all have team pride, but don't submit a ballot with everyone on your team. If you HONESTLY believe that they are the best in the division, then write em down, otherwise, give credit where it really deserves to be.

Here is the ballot to pm me with:
QB:
RB:
TE:
FB:
WR: (Pick 2)
K:
P:
O Line: (Pick 5 to fill in 2 g's, 2 ot's and 1 c)
DT: (Pick 2)
DE: (Pick 2)
CB: (Pick 2)
LB: (Pick 3)
SS:
FS:

Bump. Thanks for doing this chiv! But if you're doing it Fox News style then it will be fair and balanced the same way that McDonald's is health food.

Because we all know that CNN, ABC, NBC, and CBS are bias in the other direction... *rolls eyes*

Not starting a political war, I just want both Lion and Elephant to have their players represented for their leagues and stole the slogan God I wish there was a way to actually implement pro bowls into the game. Would be a hell of a match.

I would completely disagree (though I'm not sure what you're trying to convey with the rolling of the eyes). The bottom line is that Cable News networks only have one agenda, their bottom line. Fox News has openly courted the Conservative right while the other news outlets have their moments both ways. This has worked from a financial aspect as Fox has the most dedicated viewers. From a "news" perspective though, they are certainly the biggest joke of any network. That said, all the cable news stations flat out stink at really covering anything from an intelligent, real standpoint. Basically, they are as bad at the political analysis as ESPN is at sports analysis. But alas, it's about entertainment, not news.

Would be very interesting to see a real pro bowl match up. I'm hoping that some day they implement that kind of stuff, but there would certainly have to be a lot of changes put in for that to work.

Im assuming your speaking from a Liberal perspective, and im not at all denying that Fox has a conservative slant (although I personally feel they are fairly balanced). However, when it boils down to it the other 4 major networks have an extreme liberal slant. I think from our respective perspectives we, along with everyone else in the nation, are going to point and waive our fingers at what we consider 'the other' networks that put our views in the dog house and promote the polar oppisite while saying that our side is fair and unbias. Objectively I think the fact is Fox leans towards the right while the other four lean towards the left... and as you said it all boils down to money as ultimately they are business.

Interestingly enough im actually having to do an indepth analysis on this topic right now in one of my poli-sci classes. Its a very indepth subject when you truely want to get down to it, and look at all of the broad statistics from viewer perception to the actual reporting.

Why would you make that assumption? Trust me, I'm far from a liberal. I'm just not blind. No "news" station that employs Karl Rove can ever claim "balance." I don't really think of it as a liberal/conservative thing anymore as those lables have long lost their true meanings. It's really just a joke that Fox even tries to claim it's fair and balanced. This coming from the perspective of someone most likely labled a Libertarian or Constitutionalist. Both factions that have historically aligned with the Republican party, but that party's recent direction has all but lost us.

I agree that Fox is not balanced, although from my perspective (which I admit is just as skewed as others because of my allignment) it is more balanced than the others. I also agree that Conservative and Liberal have lost their true meanings, and that the parties have as well (I do infact consider myself a conservative independant). Politics are anything but black and white. There is (or once was) such thing as a conservative democrat or liberal republican... but as a whole America has thrown out ideals and resorted to extremism based on the seeming need for competitiveness and sheer hatred. Its sad.

However by basic point was, I cant stand Fox News jokes because they are a double standard. It doesnt matter that the other 4 major news outlets are just as skewed, its apparently ok to poke at the one that is bias towards the right.

See, but that's the thing. I don't think they are. They certainly have their flaws and say their share of stupid things, but I'm appalled at what some of the people Fox puts on TV say. That said, I think it's ok to poke fun at any of them because they all suck ass. I'd love to see your results and methodology when you're finished with your project. I'll PM you my email if you'd be willing to share. Definitely fits into my field of work.

How about having some drinks while the strippers talk politics and religion. That'd be good for a laugh.

i don't really watch any of the news channels anymore, but consider msnbc the liberal's counter to fox news. fox isn't really conservative though, it's just plain republican. the current republican platform is only conservative on social issues, and even then they support a heavy handed federal government forcing the values of a few on everyone else. that right there should disgust anyone who has a clue what conservative actually means.

I'm pretty sure that would cause some cosmic space time continuum rift that would destroy the known universe.
