Well, got all 4 of the conference finals teams correct, so here we go with the next round of predictions....

West
First Round
Oakland was the class of the West this season and blasted Tucson in their regular season meeting, and should take care of business again.
San Diego took the season opener from Spicewood and could push Spicewood out of the playoffs, but Spicewood is not the same team they were 16 weeks ago.
Buffalo defeated Albuquerque just 4 weeks back and could be a difficult match-up for them again.
Grand Haven has put together a fine season since a season opening loss to Silverymoon, but likely ends their playoff run the same way.
Second Round
Oakland pushed Spicewood out of a home playoff game with a solid effort in the West conference finale, so Spicewood is looking for some pay-back, but will need to correct the turnovers that plague them in losses.
Silverymoon needs to put together a playoff run after early departures since moving up to A7, and this looks like a good opportunity for them

Alpine destroyed BC 65-0 during regular season and I see no reason this is not a repeat
RU won the regular season meeting just 4 weeks back and seems to be on a roll
NMR struggled with CCC after losing to Alpine in mid-season, but seems to have righted the ship, but could still struggle against this team
NSDK lost to the Kangaroos during the regular season, and are coming off two consecutive losses to two of the top teams in the league.
Second Round
Alpine should continue their winning ways into the conference finals
NMR are looking for a chance to avenge their only regular season loss.

Yeah, I guess I could have projected my former team to lose in the first or second round...not...

I think most of the games will be pretty good...most of the teams are fairly equally matched, but some match-ups obviously favor some teams...that's what makes this game so entertaining and frustrating...

I think Spicewood is the best team in the West (no insult to the Wizards, I guess I'm a bit biased since we have never had trouble with them so far).

Obviously, Alpine is the surest bet in the East. They probably should've been promoted last season.

Bracket is updated for today's action...couple upsets predicted, but one that was didn't happen...

Oakland is playing some fantastic defense, holding Tucson to 3 and Spicewood to 20...can they do it to Spicewood again...

GG, Oakland. Any time an offense runs 38 more plays than their counterparts, it makes for a lopsided affair. For three quarters it was a good game.. that 4th quarter was rough. Take it all the way..

GG, could've gone either way. You guys ran the ball against us very well (relative to how it went in the regular season)...

You guys are a lot better than when we played Day 1.

GG Spicewood, my pass defense definatley got worked today. Something to build on for next year.

Hopefully our run D improves against Alberquerque, if not, we'll be going home early.

To be honest, I was hoping to see Buffalo win, based on our results against the two teams, and the fact we get an additional home game.

Oakland proved to us why they've been so dominant this season other than the early loss to you...we'll have our work cut out to put another W in our column this season.
