Showdown between Alpha and Zeta.

Don't know who to root for. CTA losing helps out BDM's standings (pushes Biscuits to definite #4 seed). However, Zeta > Alpha.
So confused.
So confused.

Only a few matchups worth talking about.
Business Time (2) v WhatsaMatta (5)
Chernobyl (3) v Morgantown (2)
Gotland (8) v Jefferson City (8)
Krakow (9) v Maribor (6)
The top 3 spots in Alpha and the top spot in Zeta is locked up. The rest of the positions are TBD.

I wish that they did these based on the previous years records.
Then we would have more to talk about.

ZETA Playoff seedings
#1(LOCKED) Vilnius(15-0) - Vilnius is only favored by ~140 points in their final regular season game.
#2 Morgantown(13-2) - With the #2-#4 seeds accomplishing the round robin(Morgantown beat Tallinn, Tallinn beat Belarus, and Belarus beat Morgantown), Morgantown holds on to the #2 seed by virtue of Points Scored(Morgantown - 644, Belarus - 605, Tallinn - 579) but has the toughest remaining game(Chernobyl). The simulator favors Chernobyl which would cause Morgantown to drop to #4.
#3 Belarus(13-2) - See above. Belarus has the easiest game remaining of the 3 and should get the #2 seed.
#4 Tallinn(13-2) - The Tigers need Morgantown to lose and Belarus to either lose or score 27 points less than Tallinn for them to sneak into the #2 position. Odds are they finish in the #3 position.
#5(LOCKED) WhatsaMatta U(11-4) - The Fighting Elk get to tune up for the playoffs against a very tough Business Time team.
#6(LOCKED) Maribor(10-5) - One of the better matches this week pit the Tri-Force against a Krakow team that is fighting for a playoff berth.
#7 Chester(8-7) - The second round robin includes Chester, Jefferson City, and British with the Blitzers a game behind the other 2. For the Romans it is simple...win and they are in, lose and the Blitzers could knock them out of the playoffs entirely.
#8 Jefferson City(8-7) - The Bucks have at least the #8 position and can move up to #7 with a Chester loss.
Bubble - British(7-8) - The Blitzers need to win and have Chester lose to get in the playoffs(they own the tie-breaker over the Romans). The Blitzers are playing a tough Serbia team that has been knocked out of the playoffs. The Romans are playing a CPU team that has won one game this season. Odds are the Blitzers are sitting at home with a cold one during the playoffs.

As of now we're tied with Belarus with record, but they're 3rd and we're 4th. Isn't it head-to-head first then points...

Yeah, but it's a 3-way tie with Morgantown with each team winning 1 game against the othe two so it goes to Points Scored.

Likely possible outcomes:
Biscuits, BDM, and Talinn all win (all lose is extremely unlikely but nets same result) - Biscuits #2, BDM #3, Talinn #4.
Biscuits lose, BDM and Talinn win - Talinn #2, BDM #3, Biscuits #4.
Less likely:
BDM wins, Talinn loses (doesn't matter what Biscuits do) - BDM #2, Biscuits #3, Talinn #4.
BDM loses, Talinn/Biscuits win - Biscuits, Talinn, BDM

We all could win and if we outscore Biscuits by 40 points it would be - BDM #2, Biscuits #3 and Talinn #4

hmm.. so there is nothing for CTA to play for but pride. Biscuits are playing for #2 spot. Does CTA want to ruin Biscuit's fun? Maybe... I seem to recall BFG predicting 13-3 record for the Biscuits somewhere in the forum.
