So there is a lot of fun poked at who is better, Alpha or Zeta. We could all use an additional scrim before the playoffs, so I suggest that we create a fun little challenge. Here's how I think it could work, almost Ryder Cup style.
Alpha takes it's top 5-6 teams. Zeta takes it's top 5-6 teams. We match up the teams based on Alpha picking a matchup, then Zeta picking a matchup until all matches are picked, or we can find an alternate way to pick matches.
After matchups are scheduled, we play one total scrim against the team we're matched against. Count the win / loss for the respective division, and then tally them up when all the games are played. The division with the most wins is the best!
Only 1 scrim is required to make this happen. Would add a little interest to some of these final games, and would even allow fellow Alpha/Zeta teams to pull for each other.
If this sounds good, let's get it started pretty quickly.
