Breaking news today out of Los Alamos, NM. The Isoptopes of USA A6 who have played their home games in Stupid Flanders field in Los Alamos for a few years now have packed up and abruptly left mid season. Owner TFabs1120 was contacted through a private source. "It wasn't working for us. After the recent ownership change, we felt that Los Alamos wasn't a true home to us anymore. So the organization is shipping out ASAP.

Sources have reported that the Isotopes have fled to Kodiak Island, Alaska to re establish the team and take it from there. They will now be known as the Kodiak Island Arctic Rockers. Defensive Coordinator Scotchtape0 was quoted saying,"It's exciting, a fresh change. If anyone on the team mentions the name Isotopes they will be charged 500.00 dollars."

That is all from Los Alamos at this time. There you have it, from the desert to the tundra.

Are you (or one of your players) from Kodiak? Several of my friends grew up on the island.

Nice name change, it threw me for a loop when I signed in 3 hours before the game yesterday. All of a sudden we were playing a different team that we didnt have a friendly against, it took a second to realize, one of those days ya know.
Hopefully you guys find more success in this name then you had in the last one, good-luck.

Just remember that as long as you are in Alaska, you are in Ewok territory......

I have to emphasis what Mikie said. We've been in Alaska since season 2. We've worked hard to get a somewhat following in Alaska as well as thoughout the US. I don't know how far it has caught on in the lower 48 states, but in Alaska we have a big following. We even sponsor an annual sled race. Good luck beating that.
