Warrior General Games

Lots of competition in both divisions in this league... lots of toing and froing and interesting storylines and such, but I just noticed a battle that isn't getting much publication at all.

That contest, my friends, is the race of Hugh Laurie's touchdowns vs. Julius Dee's sacks. A7's two biggest stat whores are locked in furious battle week after week as they pile up numbers in an effort to outdo the other.

Currently, the Spicewood quarterback has a slim 84 - 83 edge in this clash, and his schedule does set up more favorably with a game against gutted Austin looming. Both teams drew decent competition for their cross conference bouts and everybody knows what Alpine's illustrious rush end is capable of - it's still anybody's game.

^.^ I had my first TFL today.

The West also has like 5-6 gutted teams and the East has like 2. Putting up stats like Hugh's is easier in the West than in the East.

Please whine more about it.

Not denying that.. I wasn't making this post to turn it into another east/west shitstorm, just thought it might be fun to observe this little race when I noticed that Hugh's TDs and Dee's sacks are basically equal. I mean really, how could you even compare a QB and a DE statistically, even against equal competition?

Everybody in this league knows they are both great players - Hugh has 4 A7 passing trophies on his shelf already, from 2 seasons when the west not only didn't have as many gut jobs but won cross conference week both times.

Thanks for that bud - nice to see somebody in the East just manning up instead of complaining about the gut jobs that none of us out West asked for.

I'm not trying to complain about it and I didn't want it to come off that way this is the first time I've ever made a post about the gut job difference between leagues. It is a cool thing to watch and compare I wasn't trying to make this a shitstorm my bad. Mat - don't jump down my throat about something I've never posted about before.
