Hey all!

Now that we've officially been eliminated from playoff contention, the PortMoW need something to look forward to...

We're fully behind the "Super Conference" idea, and have volunteered to fill a spot should one of the upper echelon teams not want inclusion in such a conference.

The conference would harbor the most competitive, and active teams in any league I've seen in GLB. In the spirit of this competition, the Men-of-War would like to test themselves against the cream of the crop!

I've sent out friendly challenges to three of the best teams in the league, and intend to send more challenges moving forward.

It was during these challenges that I thought of what could be a fun thing to do.

How about a preview of the "Super Conference" with a little 16 team tournament?

I'd be happy to organize and see it through, but I'd like to make sure everyone else is interested before investing any time into this.

I think this set the table nicely should the Super Conference take shape for next season, and if it doesn't, then this could be a fun way to compete against the teams you most enjoy competing against.

So, give me a shout if you want in!

The Corba's would love to be part of this tourney.

Eastwick Savages are ok with the tourney idea...

I'd be down, and I'm sure Bears would be too.

Due to it getting close to playoff crunch time, and much game planning to be done to make some noise in the playoffs, The Tilburg Lightning will have to decline the invitation to the tournament.

Had it been earlier in the season, I would have loved the idea. But we have some unfinished business to take care of, and want to devote as much time to it as possible.
