I thought this would be an interesting topic. I've never had the chance to ask any other owners this question, so I figured I would ask you guys.

Please be specific if you only pay for a % or something.

Are you giving out the full equipment money dlee?

Yup, and it's expensive! I think it's great because it only makes the team better, but I've been on teams where the owner won't pay for anything, they expect you to save your cash. There's nothing wrong with that, but that's just not my ownership style. As long as you're willing to extend your contract I have no problem giving you all the cash. It's worked well so far, I hope we'll have the cash for lvl 40 upgrades because that's going to be a lot of money!

The Bombers have paid for anything the players don't have banked already. My guys get paid a fair amount, so training on whatever level that they would like to is no huge deal.

So far, we pay for $200k per season per player in equipment. I was forced to do that to ensure maximum stadium size. Next season, we will expand our equipment payments but I have to wait and see how the numbers work out.

My Rhinos get full money towards their equipment... no money comes from their bank.

I basically got the same deal going... if your signed up through next season and the team has the money you'll get hooked up. Or, I'll give a new contract for 2 years with a signing bonus, and have them save that for intense training and whatever else they would need.

I got a pretty damn loyal team... everyone was telling me in PMs "If it hurts the team or we can't build parts of the stadium, don't worry about it..." And everyone I brought up a contract extension to had me kick it over asap!

As for next season and the next upgrade... I don't know what I or anyone, is going to do... it will be like $1.6 million, right?
That's going to be TOUGH.

dlee is the man..paid for level 32 equip for i think..what...5 guys now dlee? asked me to resign...and has every right....i would expect loyalty if as well.. and its worth it in the long run! king for life

LOL.. All I know is, we need to beat you guys to get our fan support up to support equipment upgrades! hahaha

A lot of owners don't put up the money... most don't have it! Which is understandable... it is a lot of money.

We put up all the money for EQ upgrades at Buckeye Nation as well. At least whatever is needed on top of what's in their bank. Our down year last season hurt us a little financially. Stadium/seat construction and EQ upgrades are a tough, tough balancing act.

Zambia pays for whatever the player doesn't have...with almost the entire roster reaching level 32 this year..it's gonna be very expensive.

Yeah we're fortunate that only most of our starters will be hitting 32 this season. Next season a lot more players will be hitting the upgrade point, so I hope we can build the stadium up more to make sure they all can upgrade.

On My SA Team, the Duff Men, I pay for ALL Equipment - $17 Million so far this season and counting !
