Cybertron War Machine VS Barundi Bone Strippers
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=2824&team2=2815

GOTW. CWM is undefeated while BBS(10-1) is right on their heels looking for the tie breaker. BBS is a good team. In fact, they have surprised me all year long. Looking at the roster and trying to pick them in games have left me befuddled. I keep picking them to lose, and they keep spitting in my face. They seem to be put together to work as a cohesive unit.

DEFENSE

BBS. They are led on the field by (DE) Garland Greene. This monster has 120tackles 6 FF and 76sacks. He is an obvious key to their success. The most powerful individual in all of Africa AA#3. I think the defensive unit ranked first in pass yards allowed at 1537, and second in rush yards allowed 176yds has allowed overall 1713yds total this makes them first in yardage given up in Lion. They have allowed only 4 rush TDs and 4 pass TD on the year, and a total of 108 overall points. That right there is some good defense. This squad has an incredible chance to knock off the War Machine

CWM . Pass defense has allowed 2346yds and 7 TDs. The Rushing defense has allowed -219.5 yards and 2 TD. While the CWM pass defense appears to the naked eye to be the weaker of the two, CWM has recorded a league high 106 sacks that have accounted for -500+ yds. The secondary has accounted for 23 Int and 10 int for TD. So CWM secondary has scored 3 more times on interceptions than they have given up in receiving TD. Defense has received 53 sacks by Ultra Magnus, Prowl a LB has added 14 more. Arcee leads the team with 8 int, and 5 TD.

Advantage? CWM, but not by much. The main reason I see in favor of CWM is BBS relies very heavily on Greene. If CWM can slow him down at all, the rest of the defense is solid, but won't take over a game. CWM has play makers throughout, and while they may be a bit easier to drive on, you have to be perfect or the next thing you know, the defense has scored.

OFFENSE

BBS BBS is a well rounded offense. I think the run is the bread and butter, but the pass is good too and they make plays. Jayson Stewart is second in the conference with 3047.5 yds passing. He has 26 td and 7 int. The rushing unit has a combined 2240 yds and 44 td. I think this unit makes the team go offensively. Bo "Knows" Jackson is a stud, his running mate Guy Vaught is a td machine with 26. Two capable WR Ocho Cinco Baby 782yds and 7 td, and Raider Hater 676yds and 6 td are solid guys. The OL has allowed 15 sacks on the year.

CWM I love this offense. The conferences 2nd ranked passing game is run by the tandem of Optimus Prime and Megatron they have combined for 4022 yds and 58 TD. The recievers are led by crowd favorite Cliffjumper who has gained 1033yd and 18 TD since joining AA#3 in week 5. He is joined by Blackout who has 809 yds and 11 TD on his own. The running game has 2396 yds and 48 TD. Soundwave and Jazz share duties in the backfield. The OL has allowed 13 sacks.

Advantage CWM. this team is just explosive. Tons of touchdowns from each unit. Both of CWMs QBs have more td than BBS'. The number one key to this game is keeping the CWM QBs vertical long enough to get the big WRs the ball. Also, I am pretty confident BBS will have a tough time running on CWM.

Prediction CWM 33 BBS 17

This game is actually going to decide the #1 seed for the playoffs. If BBS wins, they have the tiebreaker and should be the top dawg.

I am not sure about obvious, but we are the faves. Those dudes have won every week, and I know I picked against them several times. I am not sure how they do it, but they do. They have to have one hell of a coaching staff.

Garland wins games single handedly for them. Much the same way the Bull did for Comoros last year. I dont think I'd go so far as to say Tanner wins games by himself for Tripoli, but he definately helps. BBE's DE (can't remember his name sorry) has alot to do with the way they've dominated this season as well. DE's are the most important positions on defense right now and the elite ones are gamebreakers.

just my 2c

I agree with you. This has been a major concern. Figuring out how to neutralize Garland Greene. I think we have a good plan in place and I dont think they will see it coming.

he had 8 sacks vs y'all, that caught my eye. I do think though with the lack of pressure from the other DL, he will need more against us.

CWM needs to go down

Lima Cheetahs are backing Barundi this game, but only for a few days...then we have to play them - and hopefully win, haha

#3 Barundi vs #1 CWM
#3 Barundi vs #2 Lima

Tough few days for Barundi, if they win both games I think they will be the #1 team in the Lion's den (conference)

I wouldn't say they have won every week

Looking forward to this one. CWM has a great team and I admire the way they have built their team. The outsourcing last season was well executed and I knew would make them a force to be reckoned with. Good luck today everyone. That's why I love this league. Best forum in GLB!

I wish he would put his DE at LDE instead of the right side. That would allow me a little more flexibility on offense.
