Time flies when your having fun and in many ways it feels like the season just started, Im sure many of us are looking forward to the second season but there is still some work to be done

In a Class of their own

1. New Jersey Crocodiles(11-0)
Got fought by the Wolves to the end but this time it was the Crocs defense that led the way stiffling two consecutives Wolves drives that threatened to tie the game at 31 late. Great game and a potential second round playoff matchup. Now only the schizo Bocs have a remote chance to dirty up the Crocs record before they take on the Admirals in what may turn out to be a meaningless week 16 matchup.
Upcoming: Bocs, Athens, Chuck
Projected: 14-0

2. Roman Legion(10-1)
Clicking on all cylanders right now as they really just owned Chuck Norris the game wasnt close and some of the Legion offensive lineman had more pancackes than they could count on their fingers. Call the Legion the Grinch from here on out as they take on some teams desperate for wins who won't really have a shot against the Legion.
Up Next: Bulls, Vikings, Hague
Projected Record: 13-1

The next four

3. Walterfootball.com Draftniks(9-2)
Drubbed the Bocs and were pitching a shutout until the forth quarter can't really move up but no danger to move down either- put them on auto pilot till playoff time.
Who's Next: Minotaurs, Chuck, Bulls
Projected: 12-2

4. Warsaw Wolves(8-3)
Ouch Ouch ouch, one we let slip away but we don't want to take anything away from the Crocs and how great they are. Two chances for a game tying touchdown drive and we couldn't make it happen. That being said we are certainly looking forward to what would appear to be a second round playoff re-match, though we are not counting any chickens. Of course in order to get their the Wolves need to take care of business against the Manlets - no small feat.
Who's Next: Manlets, Sidewinders, Hollywood
Projected Record: 11-3

5. Hollywood Knights(7-4)
Dropping a 1 pointer against Hague - ouch now even if they beat the Wolves in three games their week 16 matchup against Barcelona may cost them homefield in round 1. It also potentially could drop them to the 6th seed meaning an opening round battle against the Draftniks which can't be anyones idea of a good time so maybe they should say ouch ouch ouch.
Who's next: C-Knights, Tigers, Wolves
PROJECTED RECORD: 9-4

6. Misc Manlets(7-4)
Wow potential to move up after all, the stunner of Hague over Hollywood suddenly breathes life into the Manlets if they are looking to play at home and bank some money. A victory against the Wolves and they will almost certainly control their own destiny.
Who's Next: Wolves, Bocs, Athens
Projected: 9-5

Getting it done in the home stretch

7. Hague Pirates(6-5)
Pass the mageritas boys you've earned this one, big upset of Hollywood shutting down their big play ability in the 4th Quarter. I've criticized Hague for being lackluster in performances before but they stole the game they needed to to get into the post-season and nullyify an unlucky game 16 draw against the Don's.
Up Next: Vikings, C-Knights, Legion
Projected: 8-6

8. Chuck Norris(7-4)
Got blasted by the Legion - yeah very few teams have not - still this is one of the ugliest late season schedules out there (except for getting to play the Royals week 16).
Next Three: Mamertini, Draftniks, Crocs
PROJECTED RECORD: 8-6

Winning teams , just not winning enough

9. Vienne Vikings(6-5)
They say all good things must come to an end and while they took care of business against the Bulls I just think their remaining schedule is simply too daunting to mount a serious playoff run. In order to have any chance they need to beat Hague this week. Big game with major playoff implications on the line.
Who's Next: Pirates, Legion, Mamertini
Projected: 7-7

10. Iberian Bocs (6-5)
Played the Draftniks close if you look at the final score, but in reality simply couldnt compete physically with them and the even though they didnt get the best out of the Draftniks well they played to win the game. Only winnable game left for them seems to be against the sidewinders.
Next up: Crocs, Manlets, Sidewinders
EXPECTED RECORD: 7-7

NOTE ON THE PREDICTIONS I DO NOT USE THE LEAGUE PROJECTOR, so this is my prediction purely on observation - leaves it more open to being interesting anyway.

GAME OF THE WEEK: Warsaw Wolves vs. Misc Manlets
I may not have circles this one early in the season but now the scenario for the Wolves is simple win this one and were playing at home round 1 as long as we dont drop a gimme the rest of the way. The Manlets will certainly be motivated but look like they need to sign a few players from that forum if they wanted to move up. Still this is a good ball club and Im looking forward to a good game.
Warsaw 31 Manlets 24

Big Game: Hague Pirates vs. Vienne Vikings
Hague finally showed they could beat a good team. Vienne needs this game, Hague needs this game. Hague is well settled team though and I think they have worked out the kinks in their strategy. This game will be close but Hague pulls it off in another squeaker.
Hague 23 Vikings 21

Must See TV: New Jersey Crocs vs. Iberian Bocs
This is the last of the teams for awhile where a perfect storm could undo the Crocs - but dont count it. Crocs roll in this one and put Iberain behind the playoff eight ball.
Crocs 54 Bocs 13

Other Action
Legion 44 Bulls 0
Walters 164 Athens 3
Hollywood 64 C-Knights 10
Chuck Norris 44 Mamertini 3
Tigers 15 Sidewinders 10

It was a pretty close game, but definitely one we'd have to take! Noticed a few flaws in the AI myself.

Great write up as usual. You guys were a tough game. We almost gave that game away with the turnovers...

5 to go until the playoffs starts, so we have to keep our feet on the ground and look first at our next opponent and do our best in this game then we we coud see in 12 days what's going on in the second part of the season.

Great overlook for the Zeta. Thx for the work and time you invest here.

Great to read as always. We will have a taff day tomorrow. Lets see if we still can dream of some extra $$ or if everything is over before it begun.
