I'm just tired of seeing all the West threads with no discussion of the East. I accept the possibility of being flamed to death here, lol.

I understand that you dont have Alert there after some bad games, but we will be back in the playoffs.

But, is it as power ranking or just the current rank?
Power ranking (Scatch's) should have the 300 on top.

I don't know, just a regular ranking I guess? It is simply where I think the teams stand overall. I was actually tempted to place Sparta #1 but since you did lose to Montreal.....I had to stick with the Maniacs. But it was a tough choice. It could easily flip flop.

No research or deep analysis, more of a gut feeling rank. Just wanted to generate SOME discussion about the East after seeing the West threads dominate the board.

I do expect Montreal to bounce back strong. I think they were taken a bit off guard by Way pushing them to the limit and then Cambridge pulling off the upset. But Sparta vs Montreal in the postseason......the rematch would be one hell of a game.

I think they're about right too. Honestly, we learned a lot more from that loss than we would have from a win. Let's just say, no one will catch us with our pants down again.

These rankings are pretty spot on. I think the Maniacs are the hands down favorite. I would like to see Alert in here, but we haven't earned it yet.

If I expanded the rankings to 6 teams, Alert would likely be #6. ICE are right there too but I would put Alert #6.

Manitoba seems to have fallen apart.

Sparta has improved vast amounts since week one. Look at the matchup ratings. Overall Sparta 48, Montreal 45. Sparta has not lost a game since week 1. As power rankings go, there is no question Sparta should be 1. I also might place Sactown ahead of Cambridge, but we'll see once they play each other.

BTW Sparta goes against the Silent PWNERS tomorrow in a friendly. Should be a close game.

You have to be kidding me that you think that Sparta having a higher kicking bar in some way means they should be higher in a power rankings. If two teams have the same record, and one team beat the other team by more than 10 points holding them to under 200 yards, then there's no question that THEY should be ranked ahead even if it happened in week 1. It's not like Montreal has fallen apart or something that you guys should jump them. In fact, all the self-serving Sparta comments make me realize what a bunch of children you are. Get over yourselves. Pwners are going to pound you today.
