44-5 now in the weeks I've done predictions as GC finally got off their asses and played up to par. Things have been interesting this season to say the least. The Malice have snagged the #2 slot and the Drifters already have their record win total. Morocco keeps pulling games out of their ass and there are 7 teams separated by 1 game for the 3-9 seeds. It will be an interesting end to the season and a lot can still happen. Let's check out this week.
Morocco Camels 10-0 @ Mozambique Thundercats 4-6
On this surface, a 6 game difference in the win column might make this game look like a no-brainer as the Thundercats have used this season to once again fail to win big games. With a 1-6 record against the big 12, there's really not a lot for them to say. The Camels have looked vulnerable lately being outgained in yards 3 of their last 5 games, but yet they're still undefeated. Last season, the Thundercats pulled off the HUGE upset winning 19-14 while winning the yardage and TOP battles. So, I don't think you can easily write them off. As much as I'm actually tempted to pull the trigger on an upset call here, the Thundercats just haven't shown me enough to make me think they can this season. Maybe I'll be wrong, but I think Morocco pulls one step closer to locking up home field.
Camels 24 Thundercats 13
GOTW 1*Kinshasa Rumblers 6-4 @ Mogadishu Malice 8-2
Who would have thought that the Malice would be sitting here at this point in the season, alone in 2nd place? Over the past 6 weeks, they've beaten the Jinx, Corsairs, Beavers, and Drifters. That's quite the resume and doesn't include an early victory of the eXtreme. With a win here, they move one step closer to their first ever home playoff game. The Rumblers seem to be an interesting team. Very high levels, very low bars. They've been impressive in an early win over GC and competing with the Camels, even outgaining them recently. They've been embarrassed in games against the Beavers and Saints losing by a combined score of 88-6. They throw the ball a lot, leading the league in passing yards. They've given up a chunk of QB hurries and the Malice have been no slouches in rushing the passer. MM has shown an ability to run or pass whenever called upon. I think the recipe for beating the Rumblers is pretty clear from the Saints and Beavers game. Run the shit out of them. In those two games, they've gave up 575 yards on the ground. In the games that they pulled upsets or nearly did, teams tried to pass more on them (see Camels game). Hell, even the Bees tried a balanced offense on these guys. Basically, Malice grind it out on their way to a win while trying to limit Rumblers effectiveness in the passing game.

High Plains Drifter 7-3 @ Sahara Sandstorm 2-8
Drifters enjoy their break as they go into a brutal final stretch of conference games.
Drifters 96 Sandstorm 10
Serengeti Wildebeest 2-8 @ San Dimas Saints 7-3
Saints have gotten through the brutal part of their schedule in great shape. I'm fairly confident that they will be getting a home playoff game again this season. Today, they get to work on their stats.
Saints 110 Wildebeest 3
GOTW 2*Eaton Beavers 7-3 @ Los Angeles eXtreme 7-3
The only team in the Elephant Conference that the Beavers have never beaten. Looking forward to changing that. Loser is on the outside looking in at the home playoff picture. GL LAX!
Gold Coast Corsairs 6-4 @ African Killer Bees 3-7
The Bees have to know that the season is all but lost, but I'm sure they'd love to spoil someone's day on the way down. Gold Coast finally has their shit together and I don't think that they'll slip up here. Their defense is just too tough and I don't see the Bees scoring much, but I wouldn't be completely shocked to see the Bees get the luck on their side for once this season.
Corsairs 24 Bees 7
The ALL 0-10 @ River Styx Jinx 6-4
The Jinx were on a nice run before their tough loss to GC. They get the next 2 weeks to plan for a tough final 3 game stretch that will completely determine their playoff future. Run the table and they could be looking at home field. Lose all 3 and they probably don't make the playoffs. Should be interesting, unlike this matchup.
Jinx 94 ALL 0
Kampala Kerels 0-10 @ Kilimanjaro Sno Caps 5-5
Sno Caps have had a tough welcome to AAA, and with a tough 4 game stretch to end the Conference schedule, they'll have to pull some upsets to extend their season past Week 16. Here, they get to run all day.
