I would like everyone in Lion to nominate 3 players on offense and defense for league MVP. It would be helpful if you gave a reason, not just a name.

hmmmm.... honestly we have way too many big games this season still. I say we revisit this stuff after the last conference game honestly.

That should make your nominations easier. Unless you don't scout.

I'd like to nominate DE Travian Robertson of the Durban DesertHawks for Defensive MVP.

After 10 games:

95 tackles
5 Forced Fumbles
53 Sacks
52 Hurries
19 Tackles for Loss
1 Missed Tackle

I'd also like to nominate QB Max Mason of the Nairobi Warthogs for Offensive MVP:

4,445 Passing Yards
72% Completion Percentage
48 TDs
7 INTS
~7:1 TD to INT ratio

very good choices. That many Tackles and Sacks for a DE is insane.

It would be interesting to see what folks opinions were of the top GMs and owners in the league.

Those stats should be insane but thanks to how GLB works he is not even leading in sacks. That is insane.

tentative nominees:

(DE) Garland Greene - Burundi
He might have single handedly won games for Burundi at times

I'm tempted to say (WR) * Cliffjumper because of how good he has been, but I give him a slight negative because of only the fact that he is a partial season.

(QB) Max Mason - Nairobi
Has been the field general of a competitive team and has been able to put-up decent numbers even against the best of the Lion conference without Huge talent (at least in levels) around him.

I think the fact that CJ is leading the league with 4 less games is more of a reason to love him. But I am a bit biased there.

Reminds me of the Manny ramirez debate... should he get NL MVP even though he was only there for part of the season? His numbers were awesome though and very clutch.

baseball awards are stupid. they carry over if you switch teams in one league, but if you go from NL to AL they dont carry over the stats.

I'm not a baseball guy myself, but I watch the usual discussion shows. Just trying to think of a similar situation.

The difference here, is CJ is a league leader with four less games, you dont have to add in the other four games and compare the whole body of work.
