sooooooo after about 4 hours worth of "work" i'm up to date on the power rankings...and it is a coincidence that the Vikings hit top spot the week i manage to get them back in order...honest...

With a very tough round of matches in week 10 i am in no doubt this table will be turned on it's head in a few hours.

Week 10 Fixtures
Aberdeen Angry Scotsmen vs. Buckingham Wild Boars
Should be a striaght forward victory for the rejuvinated Celts who have ceratinly come into their own this season and look almost dead certs for a top 4 finish.

Dublin Boghoppers vs. Christiania Tigers
Looking at their records this should be a Tigers W but underestimate the boghoppers at your peril, shamrock & his team of GM's will be game planning their ass off to ensure a playoff finish in their first season in AA!

Frankfurt Sentinals vs. Madrid Pirates
The Sentinals have been underperforming this season but not enough for them to lose to the Pirates from Madrid!

Berlin Storm vs. Little Italy Goodfellas
In the past both of these teams have been on the fringes of the playoffs this season however they are very much in with a shout of a top four finish, althoguh the mafia fellows still have a very tough run in with the Celts, the eagles & PDB to play before the season finishes...not to mention an interconference game against the Lightning which will be very tough...i think the Storm might sneak this one

Eindhoven Eagles vs. Foy Destroyers
Another team who have been underperforming this season are the Eagles, a team who are usually there or there abouts come the end of the season have been struggling so far this year...although i would be very suprised if they finishes worse than .500. Foy on the other hand have started off pretty strong although they now have a nightmare few games with PDB, the sentinals & avengers following their game against the eagles...which i think they'll lose.


Paris Dream Bolts vs. London Avengers
PDB are as strong as ever...perhaps stronger with the addition of an effective offense which is something they struggled with last season. The avengers have started off well also being the only team to defeat the Celts this season they should certainly not be taken lightly...however i think they used their bonus tokens for a little boost against the Celts and think PDB will be too strong.


Brussels Massacre vs. Team Liquid

COME ON MADRID...Permain will win easy

Keltic Warriors vs. Berlin Spartans
The once formidable offense of Husavik has now gone, to be replaced by the...less formidable offense of the Kelts (should be spelt with a C!!!) but Berlins D is worse, husavik...err...Warriors easliy

London Bridges vs. Venice Romantic Rockstars
The new hybrid Romantics are a force to be reckoned with again this season and London aren't really, so Venice will win

NFLUK Dover Vikings vs. Lyon Demons
Game of the week by some distance in Zeta this will be a tough game and one i expect Lyon to boost (Bonus token boost) for...mainly because Redman keeps telling me how he sees it as a grudge match!!
I think the Vikings 100% record will go today, i'm picking Lyon...just...noone can say i'm bias

Hamburg Firestorm vs. Atlanta Conchords
Hamburg have come back from their excellent season last year stronger than ever...although they still have to play Venice, Lyon & Rotterdam i dont think they'll be ever out of playoff contention and i dont think Atlanta will be IN playoff contention so for those who haven't worked it out already...Hamburg will win

NFLUK Manchester Fire vs. Hungary Hungry Hippos
I'm not really sure whats happened to the Fire this season but they certainly aren't as strong as previous season and the Hippos look a very solid team, so i'll plump for the Hippos in this one.

Manchester Vikings vs. Hamburg Lightning
Lamba (the owner of the once horribly named Haaaaaaze team) appears to be attempting to cross breed the two NFLUK teams into some sort of Hybrid...it's not working...yet
The lightning have started strongly but as seems to be the case for so many teams this season they have a horrible run in, they'll still get in the playoffs...and they'll win today as well!

Arlanda Cheetahs vs. Rotterdam Cheetahs
anyone with an ounce of sense about them will know who'll win this one...arlanda of course...

I wouldn't say our team all bonus token boosted Phisch. We are having some beautiful inactivity issues at the moment. That said, good game vs Vikings. Exciting as usual. Trust Telly Phone to pin me back multiple times as usual but I'd like to believe this game belonged to Andrew TheGunner.

Also I'd like to congratulate newly appointed Lunchbox6186 on a successful tactical debut.

I didn't even notice that hybrid stuff until now...

It's actually Manchester Vikings because I'm a Manchester United fan in soccer(/european football) and then all but our punter are vikings as well. (all Danish)

Was a great game Redman and you're right Andrew TheGunner gets the game ball today although Telly did his best to steel it right at the death...he does enjoy the matchups against the Demons!!
