Back at it after a perfect prediction week. A lot of close games, will this week bring the same?
Prince George's Kings 9-0 @ Toronto Fightin' Loons 4-5
Loons lost a tough one to the Flash last week and PGK gave up 40 points to the Cows (what???). The Loons now will have to pull an upset off along the way to sneak into the post-season. In this game, the Kings will punish the Loons depth-less defense by grinding it out. Expect big yards on the ground and a better PGK defense this week.

North Pole Yetis 4-5 @ Northern Lights 8-1
Lights lost a tough one to the Rockstars this week and they still have PGK, Moosejaw, Winnipeg, and Sactown to go down the stretch. Yetis have been a disappointment and won't give the Lights much of a challenge here.

GOTW 1*San Diego Rockstars 8-1 @ Saulte Ste. Marie Silver Bullets 8-1
Ok Silver Bullets, here's your chance. You've had some convincing wins against lower level competition, but now you get one of the big dogs in the conference. Win here and you may have just earned yourself a home playoff game. Good luck!
Moose Jaw Jackalopes 7-2 @ Southpark Cows 1-8
Cows are 1-8, but I believe their future is somewhat bright. They have some individual players that have caused some havoc, but I believe they're more of a farm team than anything else. Interestingly enough they have two CPU Punters with the same name: "Peter Shaver" At least they have a sense of humor.

GOTW 2*Winnipeg Falcons 6-3 @ Grim Afterlife 5-4
Two teams that are almost certainly headed to the 5-8 part of the playoffs and are both very good. Winnipeg throws the ball as well as anyone, while Grim is slightly favored toward the run. Both have efficient, balanced offenses, balanced defenses, don't give up a lot of QB pressures, get a few QB pressures and have good offensive lines. Across the board though, Winnipeg is ever so slightly better statistically. Last season, these two played a great game with the Falcons coming out on top 27-23. I expect a similar story this time around, but a few turnovers could flip the script. In the end, I think Winnipeg is just a little better and hold onto their slightly better playoff position.
Falcons 27 Afterlife 20
Alberta Vampires 0-8 @ Winnipeg Wolverines 5-4
With a firm grip on that #8 playoff spot, Winnipeg gets to beat down Alberta this week. Maybe they can come on afterwards and post their stats in multiple threads for us?
Wolverines 156 Vampires 0
Atlanta Flash 3-6 @ Thunder Bay Huskies 2-7
Big win by the Flash last week keeps their playoff prayers alive. With a win here and an upset of Winnipeg, they still have a shot at 8-8, albeit not a great one. I've been impressed by the Flash so far. They've done a decent amount with very little. I would go so far as to predict that they will be a playoff team next season in this league. Huskies haven't beaten a team with a win yet and though they've been in some games, have found a way to lose them all. Flash have still yet to record a sack and give up a lot of QB pressures. The Flash are putrid at running the ball and have relied a lot on big returns from their special teams in their wins. On paper, I have to think that Thunder Bay is the better team, but I think the Flash find a way again.
